couldnt agree more. The game gets watered down in difficulty cause alot of players want to complete vet Trials , vet DLC dungeons ect. With not good enough DD setups, bad Healers and so on. No Offense to players who arent "good enough" to do this content, but IF you arent good enough pls accept the fact and try to improve your playstyle, gear ect. and then try again.
ofc no everyone is able to weave, or has fast reaction times, which are needed in vet Content, thats just a fact.
Furthermore the CP system is still way to strong, therefore with every update skills need to get weaker to compensate more CP's.PC EU

I think they're pushing for the content updates every quarter so much that they just squeeze in what they can each patch in a broken state, often for worse balance than to begin with once people figure it out. @ihazzit The entire point of this thread is that I am sick and tired of individuals asking for nerfs and or “adjustments” to things that often times than not they’ve died to within a PvP-based environment. And not for nothing, a lot of these things that people are asking to be nerfed aren’t even overperforming to begin with. It’s just people refusing to adapt and or counter said things, and making a nerf thread on these forums and elsewhere.OW?
@greylox The abbreviation for “OW” in this circumstance is for OverWatch. Another game that I play, which is littered with people whining for certain heroes to get nerfed. And 99% of the time, the hero is actually suboptimal, and or in need of buffs. But because they “main” a hero that is easily checked by the hero in question, they go off on these tangents about how x hero is overpowered.
Although now that I think about it, a lot of the people looking for things to get nerfed in ESO are Nightblade mains. Nightblades ironically are the ESO equivalent of Overwatch’s Genji. And the vast majority of the time, it is the Genji mains who make nerf threads. Hmm... Interesting. . .0 -

The constant rebalances are there to change which dungeon/trial/overland location produces the best sets to therefore keep the PVE player-base farming different locations/dungeons each patch.
Honestly.. without constant re-balances, the same sets/skills would stay meta forever, people would get kitted up, then get bored cos there's no incentive to farm the next best gear or experiment with new setups/ideas...
You may think you're sick of having to re-farm and re-gear regularly - but without that... what would you do? The alternative is much, much worse.. Boredom and nothing to do.

Yeah people, deal with classes being unbalanced, because this guy's favorite class is dominating his preferred game mode. There is absolutely no reason to want a fair playing field for all classes, everyone just needs to be the exact same, always.0 -

To be fair to the OP they never said that the alternative wasn't to not care about balance at all, how about buffing things that need buffing? What about considering that it has only been out for barely a week and should be allowed too run its course for a brief period before crying for a nerf about absolutely everything.

Huh...? My favorite class is a MagSorc. Pet build variant to be specific. And before Necropotence was “upgraded” to CP160, and before most of this game’s community’s favorite streamers started promoting pet builds...? The entire concept of a pet build was deemed laughable. Comedy at its finest. It was so bad, that at 1 point there would be numerous threads popping up about how the Daedric Summoning skill line should be removed entirely; or revamped into something else completely. This went on for months. Years. You forget that it was all about DW’ing swords, and having a destruction staff on the back bar. The concept of Destro/Resto was considered an amateur and “trash” setup. It was about that hard-casting C-Frag playstyle, and wearing 5pcs. Martial Knowledge. Lol.
Now you tell me what it is about MagSorc pet builds, that are so unbalanced with this new update. What set is it that we gain which “dominates” from a PvE or PvP perspective? Can’t be Zaan, as that goes more so toward Templars and DK’s. And while I do in fact “main” a MagDK when PvP’ing, I haven’t set foot in Cyrodiil to just straight-up PvP in months. The only time I enter Cyrodiil is to go farm stones in IC, and or help a guildie or buddy farm mobs in IC. That’s it. And even then that’s pretty damn rare. Lol. So what are you talking about exactly?0 -

@pieratsos So what you’re trying to make me believe is that I’m “wrong” for having a problem with the abundance of “nerf threads” that pop-up? Especially when most of the time the: Class, set, and or skill in question is far from overperforming?
I’m wrong for disliking nerf threads that pop-up, when the new content at hand hasn’t even been released on 2 other platforms? Let alone the content hasn’t even been released on the live PC version for a month?
I’m wrong for disliking nerf threads, when often times than not the people who make them are folks who have died to something within a PvP-based environment? And they just want it nerfed, so that they don’t have to use their brains to adapt; or counter said sets or strategies? Damn the fact that this game has a PvE to it, right? It’s about balancing whatever it is then and there, because so and so died to it. And they feel as though it’s overperforming.
How about no. No, I’m not wrong. Maybe it’s people needing to actually learn to play, and adapt to things on the fly. And trust me when I say, I’m 1 of the last people you’d meet who’d type the words of “git gud”. But my goodness, the amount of whining from straight-up lack of ability is sickening.
