Drawing regular weapons after using Blade of Woe

Why? Why does this happen? I haven't been able to find an explanation for this yet. I use my Blade of Woe to assassinate people. Not my giant great sword. Not my bow. My Blade of Woe. It's not a huge problem, but will there ever be a change to this? I'm not even that much into immersion, but it's just really annoying running away from an assassination with my sword drawn.
