Favorite race?

For me gotta be Khajiit. Their lore is so fascinating. If I understand it correctly the way Khajiit breeds works a humanoid Khajiit could easily have a sibling who is a small quadraped. Plus cat people are just awesome. They look beautiful. And they talk in third person. Unlike Miqo'ti on FFXIV they're actual cat people. Also that tail, gotta love a khajiit tail.

I also really enjoy argonian lore. From what I know they're literally the only race with absolutely no connection to men and mer. The hist trees are so fascinating.

Beyond that if I had to choose a man/mer race I liked the most is Dunmer. They have interesting lore. 3 of their own ascending to divinity? That's pretty cool. Though many of them are mean, xenophobic, and also they like to enslave other races namely Argonian and Khajiit.

You are absolutely right, khajiit is the best race. If I had to choose from man and mer though, I'd choose altmer. I mean, have you seen Summerset? Well, me neither, but it's supposed to be really cool.

Edit: Or you know, dwemer, but they aren't very lively now a days.

running 12 chars I play almost every race, just not altmer and khajit.(until now)
my last one is NORD!
and I must say, she is much better as many people here on the forums tell you.
I lvl her hardcore, a real test, to see were the weaknesses of the class are, so far very cool
and cold

Besides that I like Dunmer, Argonians, Imperial, Ork, Woodelf, Redguard, Breton, have them all and they are all beautiful in theitr own way!

For me, the favorite race will always be Dunmer. But then, I am an incorrigeable dark elf fancier, always have been. And while I genereally like any "dokkalfar" and "swartalfar" derivates, the rich history they wrote up for TES3:Morrowind made me like the Dumner in their own right all the more!

Thier lands also are pretty neat, randing from volcanic ashlands to wierd tentacle and mushroom plants and beyond... the architecture is so nicely varied, from Deshaan stone buildings to Vvardenfell crab-shell housing, from Balmorra "baked mud" style buildings to Telvanni mushroom towers...

If I could have only one character, it definitely would be a Dunmer!

Argonians. Their lore, connection to the Hist, the fact that they can breathe under water, are immune to so many diseases, poisons, and whatnot, and that they can have gorgeous colors.

Khajiit by a sandy mile. But then, Argonian is by just as far from the rest 2nd to me. All about those beast races, mhm. Unless you count Orcs. Ugly as sin. I am very aesthetically driven. I expect that to translate well when starting into the Outfit System a week from now on PS4~

Actually that is the best choice to play a mage character in TES:Oblivion - Breton with Atronach birthsign is a bit of a hassle in the first few levels, but then it really takes off - I choose mostly Breton/Atronach in Oblivion therefore.

Argonians have such a interesting history. I find myself likely them

Redguards or imperial are best looking races.

Altmer are admirable though stick in muds. Still one my favorite.

Khajitt need fluffier tales but definitely like them.

Nords I admire them for they hearthy style.

I play a lot of differenct races, but the one I have the most of is Bosmer (Wood Elves). They're great all-around for a stamina character. Good stamina sustain, disease and poison resistant, plus sneakiness and a bonus to attacks from stealth. I have a Bosmer warden, nightblade and sorceror.
And yes, BIS for adorableness.
