✭✭✭✭✭You can change the build the Level Up Advisor is guiding you towards. So if the Level-Up Advisor is taking you in a direction you don't like, you can look at the options and pick a different one that seems to fit your vision better.
And of course, you can go ahead and choose that "Ill-Advised Morph" when you know its the skill you want for your build. Stick it to the man!3 -

MAJOR MAJOR PROBLEM
it wants me to choose a locked class skill - searing strike, but until i choose "A" class skill, im not earning any xp in that skill line, so at this rate, i will never ever get that skill.
I have chosen DK, venomous dragon.

The Skill Advisor does that. You need to choose the first skill in that line and use it only long enough to level up the line to get the one you want. I've had it suggest passives where I needed to unlock a skill in the line to get it.
Its not a problem, unless you are expecting the Skill Advisor to hold you hand for every step of the process instead of giving you a list of suggested skills for your build.
Its no different that me telling a new stam sorc they'll want to get hurricane asap. You obviously have to unlock the skill line with Mage's Fury first.Edited by VaranisArano on February 18, 2018 1:54PM1 -

This is not a step by step hand holding system where every skill and passive suggested are only ones that are available to you. You will still to get your skills to level you lines and the advisor will tell you what skills are decent options for beginners depending on which build you chose.0 -

WE know this but all a noob knows is you need rank 4 to open the skill it wants you to take, not how to achieve level 4 in that skill. It doesnt tell them how.0 -
