Is Animation Cancelling going away?

Somebody just informed me that animation canceling is being removed with update 17. Is that true or was I misinformed. I couldn't find anything about it on the patch notes and I can't test it because I'm on Xbox. Thanks.

    That's an exploit/bug, it's not possible to do that by simply "animation cancelling" due to global cooldowns alone.

    That's an exploit/bug, it's not possible to do that by simply "animation cancelling" due to global cooldowns alone.

    Probably just lag rather than a exploit/bug.

    you would not be able to Gank people if animation canceling was removed because that is basicly what people are doing.

    killing people in what looked like 1 hit, you look at your death recap and it shows multiple hits that killed you in under 1 tenth of a second.
    and no it was not from lagg.

    you can't cast abilities faster via animation cancelling. It's fake news.

    they can't remove something that doesn't exist.

    Animation canceling wont ever be gone, it has existed in multiple online games, including game that are competitve at the highest leveles.The devs support it and so do competitive players.IT ADDS A SKILLCAP to the game, learn it tis not like its freakingn rocket science.

    Do you understand that there is a global cooldown for abilities? You can't cast skills faster than once every 1.5 (?) seconds due to the global cooldown.

    Your comment doesn't "stand", it's plain wrong. Animation cancelling has nothing to do with you getting one hit. Timed burst abilities, abilities with travel time and intelligent timing of burst does.
