eye of the storm / elemental rage on back bar

Will both of these ultimate continue functioning if cast on a back bar and then weapon swapped to a non destro staff? In pretty sure elemental rage does, but never used eye of the storm.

yes it does, in PvE I run dw/destro ... and cast the destro ult then swap to my dw bar and it still continues to run its course

Thanks, now to figure out whether rage or eye is better on a tank...

On a tank.. really? Oh man, does this mean it is a prelude to every toons slotting Eye of the Storm (particularly for PvP) since the AoE cap is out? Ha ha

Well I mostly run back bar staff for blockade, inferno on my dk and ice on my warden, so its a matter of deciding whether to use the destro ult or something like standard of might.

This is mainly in regards to 4 man dungeon runs where that bit of extra damage can make things go smoother, obviously warhorn is the go to for trials
