Do I need to create new characters to get the storage chest at level 18?

Or can I use an already made low level and get that t 18 and get the chest?

    That was a 'test' server setting.

    According to the latest patch notes on PC you don't get a storage chest at any level. :(

    Hopefully someone can verify if it is a 'unlisted' reward or something.

    You need to have a character go from level 17 to 18 in order to get it.
    So you can use any character < 18 regardless of when you made the character

    You do in fact get the chest at level 18. Source: Did it myself

    Thanks for the confirmation, I was planning to use my old Mule character to get the 'free' chest and was disappointed when I did not see it listed in the Patch Notes as one of the rewards.
