Are The DLC Worth Getting?

ESO+ is better bang for buck, you get access to all the DLC, the almighty craft bag, double bank space, double furnishing storage and 1500 crowns per month that you can use to pay for the DLC so if you ever wanna drop the sub you still have access to the DLC. So... you might aswell pay for the DLC over the course of a year or so via ESO+ provided crowns and have access to the craft bag and other ESO+ perks in the mean time.

But if you're like anti commitment / subscription and just wanna buy them outright all the overland DLC's are great, and if you like running dungeons then the dungeon DLCs provide a bit more variety there too.

Orsinium is the best DLC they'd done so far, in my opinion. I definitely recommend that one.

I agree. They did a very nice job with it.

If you can't do the sub long term, it might be better just to buy them outright because once you cancel ESO+, you lose access to the DLCS

I have ESO+, and I do think all of the DLCS would be worth it but I would prioritize the zone ones first (Orcinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Clockwork city). Save $ for Morrowind and get that when you can too.

The pack is probably the best value and gets you 4 of the DLCs to start off with. You can catch up on the others when you can. I enjoy playing them all.

    If you are hesitant....DONT BUY

I'd suggest to try 30 days of ESO Plus and try it out (excluding Morrowind)

Because you are on PS4, I'd suggest if you like any of the DLC, buy the bundle on the PS4 store so you get access on both NA and EU.

Hope that helps.....don't buy from the crown store unless you absolutely have to. (I made that mistake already)

I bought Dark brotherhood and thieves guild mostly for the costumes and skill trees, both are excellent for making gold and the Blade of Woe from DB is amazing. Ornisium is by far my favourite, rather than F spamming I was pretty engrossed in the story, Clockwork City was ok but felt short but is ok for the dailies.

Get the membership. The value is higher if you plan to play for a month or more and it comes with coins, collectibles, DLC, other stuff.

    Hello,

I got the 4-DLC mega pack first and then got an ESO+ plus subscription. ESO+ has now lapsed and I have subsequently lost access to Clockwork City, which I didn't like; and Shadows of the Hist, which I didn't use.

In my opinion, the four DLC packs bundled together are worth having. How you acquire them is the issue for you now.

I'd just subscribe to ESO+ With subscription, you get the following:
    • Unlimited space crafting bag
    • Access to ALL DLC content
    • Your bank space is doubled.
    • Your furnishing space in houses is doubled.
    • Crown allowance based on when your subscription renews. (You basically get the same amount of crowns if you would have purchased them separately when your sub renews).

    IMO that's the best offer...

I've been purchasing the Zone DLC's as the release. But as much as I enjoy the dungeons, I have found it hard to justify purchasing them. Instead I've had ESO plus off and on and play them at the times I have it active. Orsinuim and Cyrodiil/Imperial City seemingly to be the largest and best value but I enjoy the others and the skills/perks that come with them.

Note: I have also purchased the Morrowind chapter. That presents its own argument of DLC/Chapter but overall, I thought it an acceptable purchase at time of release. More so now that it might be cheaper or when on sale.

It's actually quite reasonably priced now, if you buy it as an upgrade to the game. I haven't seen all of Vardenfell yet, but so far I had a lot of fun playing in this region. In my books it is well worth it.

Gold Edition in my opinion was money well spent. Base game, DB, TG, Orisinium and Imperial City, for $20 USD. I am ESO+, but Gold + Morrowind Upgrade pretty much set me up should I decide to drop +.

The DLCs are the best content in the game to me. Dark Brotherhood, Orsinium, and Thieves guild are all fantastic story lines with fun quests and great looking zones.

Dungeon dlc are generally bad, shadow of hist is prolly the only one worth, widow maker and veli were good at some point, amber always been good, chudan is good since the buff. And you have 2 skins, amber plasm not hard to get either. Horn of the reach, sets are pure garb except earthgore, skin was only easy to get due to bug, now hard AF. Not worth at all. Dragon bone, zaan and the buff duration set look ok, that’s about it.

I have eso+ but I did use my crowns to buy the Guilds and Glory DLC pack so I have access to it always.

I'm not a big dungeon goer and this 4 dlc pack (Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Orsinium and Imperial City) suit me fine and has a lot of replayability.

It's always better go get ESO plus instead because of the crafting bag. You can't go without a crafting bag.

I suppose it relates to what you want. Honestly I think ESO+ is just worth it for the bank space and craft bag (ESO+ comes with all DLC included-as long as you are subbed).
Norion Germain - Telvanni Wizard, Covenant Battle Mage, Mage's Guild Magister, Resident of Daggerfall Overlook, Lord of Tel Galen, Psijic Monk, Antiquarian, Breton Scholar, and Traveler.

    Hello,

So I just got my first character to Level 50 and I am considering on buying the DLC. Part of me is for it and another part of me is telling me to wait so I am not sure. More or less the 5500 DLC bundle and Shadows of the Hist interest me the most. If there is a sale soon, I will most likely buy them. I would like to see/know what is coming to the Crown Store too, just in case there is something that interests me.

    Feedback welcome,
    -Yzalirk

You should go for ESO+ for a month to try out all of the DLC dungeons, and zones to see which ones you would like to own. You may also like +, because the crafting bag is awesome, and reduced research times is pretty nice too.
