Redguard a viable Stamina Nightblade race (for ganking in PvP)?

So I've been a bit lost on a decision recently, of whether to race change a champ-ranked character of mine to a Wood Elf (stealth bonuses, huge regen) or a Redguard (great max stam/adrenaline rush passive ((and overall a bit cooler looking when it comes to the male variety than the wood elves))). Every fibre of my being wants to go with Redguard, but I would like to do both types (PvE & PvP effectively) with this character. I saw a couple of posts around about Redguards stealth being a bit bugged, not to mention wood elves have their "stealthy" passive (-3m detection range and +10% dmg in stealth.)

TL:DR: Is Redguard stealth bugged? does the Stealthy passive from Wood Elves matter a whole lot? Would I put myself at a huge disadvantage by going Redguard in PvP for ganking and/or put myself at a disadvantage with a Wood Elf in PvE?

Redguard is king of any Stam build atm.

I get that, I know it's especially true for PvE and most PvP stam classes, but I've heard there's some bug with Redguard and stealth detection. I just wanna know if that's a thing, or if I can do relatively the same stuff Wood Elf Stamblade's can do in PvP. I feel there's a reason nearly every single PvP based Stamblade is a Wood Elf.

I haven’t heard of any bugs like that. There’s things that pull nightblades out of stealth that shouldn’t, but I dont know if is redguard related.

Can't comment on any Redguard bug, but I can comment on the stealthy passive for both PVE and PVP.

The stealthy passive is an absolute game-changer if you plan to do any thieving/assassin stuff in PVE. The combination of stealthy (for stealth radius reduction) + 5 piece Night Mother's Embrace + 3 piece Night Terror makes sneaking around a lot of fun and allows you to play the game without relying on cloak all the time.

In PVP I actually run the same exact build as I do for PVE:
    5 piece Night Mother's Embrace
    3 piece Night Terror
3 piece Ward of Cyrodiil (3rd piece becomes available on swap to bow)
    1 piece Kena
    1 piece Velidreth
All my pieces are well-fitted for dodge rolling and sprinting, and I have weapon damage enchants on all my jewelry.

This isn't the absolute best build for PVP, but I love it because I can ride my mount faster than anyone, stealth better than anyone, possess insanely low sneak cost, and I hit pretty hard as well (4K weapon damage buffed from stealth) with around 2.5K stamina recovery (lava rice stamina food). I hit hard enough to solo resources without much healing. And I am pro at sneaking behind enemy lines to burn forward camps (and even had some awesome forward camp burns which were placed right in the heart of enemy npc protected resources because my stealth radius got me close enough to burn them before detection).

That's my 2 cents. But go Redguard if every fiber of your being wants Redguard!
