Prisoner's Rags character bound?

Why not account bound? Yeah, I'm nitpicking but I would like to have Prisoner's Rags on my main crafter who has EVERY style... but I can't because the one I got tonight is character bound to a non-crafting alt that may be deleted shortly because I'm not likeing the play style.

I'm not asking for unbound... but enough with character bound motifs. All of my crafters are CP 720... they have no way to get Prisoner's Rags. Yes, I AM aware that the only achivement is for applying the style not learning it, but I'm a collector, I want one crafter with EVERYTHING... and now there's something you can't get if your toon was already maxed.

That's a rather unfortunate decision. I too have a main crafter who is my only character to learn motifs. I'm going to be very disappointed if it turns out that my crafter cannot learn a new style that the newest character I'm leveling up to give a new class a try can.

This is a reward I can only get by leveling up a new character. I would have expected that the reward would be account-bound accordingly so that the motif is not locked onto my new character.

Edited to add: As I find out below, this is a non-issue. I'm delighted to hear that this is not a motif, its an Outfit Style that is available across all characters once learned.

Really? Well that sucks. I was pretty much planning the same thing. Get the motif on an alt and ship it to one of my crafters.

EDIT: Although, does it work like an ordinary motif? I mean, can you actually craft anything in that style or is it exclusively an outfit thing. If it's the later, then I guess it doesn't matter.

I'm not sure. It IS an outfit style, but not sure you can craft in it. I'm really splitting hairs here, but my main is the one toon I know I will never delete, and all the ones that are eligible for Prisoners Rags... I may not keep. At this point I only make new toons to try new builds and most end up being deleted.

The Patch Notes say: "Level 40: 6,000 gold, The Prisoner’s Rags Outfit Style, and an Outfit Token"

So if the "Outfit Style" means that its not craftable but is available for use in the Outfit System, I take back my complaints.

It's an outfit style, not a motif. The knowledge will be on all characters in the outfit system but is not a style you can craft new gear in

Awesome! Good to know. Do you know if that knowledge vanishes if you delete the character that earned it?

Someone said in another thread that on the PTS you kept outfit knowledge if you deleted a toon, but no one has confirmed in Live (that I know of).

This needs to be fixed.

So now there are two things existing characters can't get. The other thing is the skill point from the Morrowind tutorial quest.

So now there are two things existing characters can't get. The other thing is the skill point from the Morrowind tutorial quest.

Apparently its a outfit style and thus able to be used by all characters, not a motif like I for one originally thought.

My main/crafter sure would love that skill point that I paid for, but she can't have it because she was created in 2014...

This 1 skill point gets to me too. i'm on a mission to do everything, get everything and get all achievements on my main, and that 1 skill point stops me.
I already have all the possible skillpoints bar that and some PvP ranks.

i agree it should be account wide unlock for that.
i am very upset about it that i cant use it on my other crafter and other characters.
