Insane weapon swap lag

Anyone else experiencing an insane lag on weapon swapping? I am talking around 1-2 seconds, makes it nearly unplayable...any way to fix this? It seems only to afflict some characters and relogging / repairing didn't really repair it?

I noticed after I created an Outfit for my tank, who is using a double sword and board setup, the weapon swap did feel sluggish. It wasn't anything like 1-2 seconds, more like maybe .5 seconds or so slower. I haven't seen this on any of my non-Outfitted characters yet, but I'll see if that makes a difference with them too.

Quick fix is to go to your video settings and set texture settings to low (everything else can stay exactly the same)

If you dislike the blurry picture you get afterwards, you can experiment with costumes and disguises Some seem to improve performance, some increase the bar swap delay. Or take off costumes/disguises if you wear any and check whether that helps.

Yes both my wife and I have been having horrible weapon swap lag since yesterday's update. Sometimes you have to press the button 3-6 times before the weapon swap occurs. Some content is impossible without being able to swap weapons when necessary.

hmm sorry i used the search function but found only old threads even when searching within a short time period

my character doesnt wear an outfit - i had the lag on a s+b / staff character but not on a staff/staff...but yeah, as tank its basically unplayable like this...i hope they are aware of the issue and looking into it

Fix weapon swap lag by lowering texture resolution? Just how fubar was that last patch?

yeah sorry im playing on 4k...thats not gonna be an option...ill wait rather till they fix it...or other games release ^^

I dont know but the general perfomance of the game went down the hill since last weekend. Tried vAA on saturday, we couldnt complete it because of the lags. And now even dwelves and dungeons are lagging very bad. Doing the dailies arent fun, not to mention the bar swap lags...

Hey everyone!

We are aware of the issue with lag when switching weapons. The team has been testing a fix for this and will add it to Monday's incremental patch as long as the fix resolves the issue. Check the Patch Notes when they're posted for more information.

It's really funny how it's the costumery update is the one that plunges the game into the most unplayable state it's ever been in, hopefully for only one week though.
