Hide shoulders

Maybe this has been brought up already but it can't be said enough, a hide shoulders option is essential for the new outfits system. If the idea now is to mix and match creatively to come up with sets besides those given to us we need these options. Shoulderpads have a tendency to look gaudy on smaller characters, not to mention those wearing slim robes. It also helps the visibility of character creation elements like tattoos which, especially on higher-level gear, may as well not be there. While a sleeveless piece of gear may show off those sexy skin-arts well a pair of shoulderpads diminishes that entirely.

I'm just making due with setting my outfit to show my actual shoulders and not wearing shoulders for now. It's better than nothing but so long as we've put all this work into a nice custom outfit system, it seems a no-brainer to include this, doesn't it?

It's been said numerous times. Apparently the internal build had this option during an ESO Live stream, so it's probably coming.

I agree it would be awesome if they included a hide shoulder option in a future update

What if not just hide shoulder but hide gloves, belt, and others as well. There was a lot of discussion on the pts subsection and there was some degree of popularity to the idea of the ability to hide any piece. I don't think it was officially acknowledged by zos however.

I would love a hide anything option.
People can already choose to run around in their skivvies, or the nordic bathers towel, why not let the more creative side of the player base have access to even more options when designing their character's look?

It's been heavily discussed on the PTS forums.

Hide shoulders will allow for a lot of Costume styles to be a reality.
Lot of current in game costumes that have no shoulders.
    Others have no belts.
The hide gloves option would also be a good choice for those wanting to wear only leg armor and boots.

Gonna be a lot of people who will cry but mah ermersiern completely ignoring half the gear we already run around in. Tanks in chef costumes and obese orcs fighting in wedding dresses.. etc. Historically, a lot of cultures fought naked. As a Scottish Celt, would be good to fight naked in only the Falkreath hold skin wielding only basic swords dyed rust copper.

... for the measly price of 3000 Crowns per character! :dizzy:

(just an assumption. 5000 is much more likely)
