But it takes 20 Bonemold Resin to make.
All I can find online says that the only way to obtain this material is by pick-pocketing residents or looting lockboxes in Vvardenfell, and that the raw element doesn't actually exist (of which it would take 200, anyway). I've never seen one, with many hours of looting expended.
TTC seems to indicate that maybe you can buy 1 or 3 at a time from guild stores, but now that the turtle market is going to explode, good luck with that.
Little by little, the grind is just making me more tired.
This is but a tiny example of a bigger picture that is driving me (and my friends) away from this game. Making things harder to get (unless you want to buy it with crowns!) is not lighting the fire under my butt to play more. It's blowing that fire straight out.

✭✭✭✭✭Ugh, I wish they'd taken the feedback from the PTS more seriously. The Clockwork City furnishing plans had way better pricing points at 1 style material per craft. For something with such a small aesthetic impact I feel they've gone overboard with the creation cost. I can make like, five, maybe six of them tops. I never did the pickpocketing route, but I eventually got over 100 refined resin from deconstructing the gear that I got while doing Vvardenfell dailies and Buoyant Armiger farming from chests. It is a giant, unimaginable slog, but it's possible. Still, that leaves me with the ability to create only about 5 turtles! They're tiny little buggers so I'd been hoping for something a little more accessible.Men'Do PC NA AD Khajiit

Edited to add what about the crown style stones - make and decon items?
When you use a mimic stones and create an item, then when you decon it, the style stone will be that of the style you created. (When you get the stone that is) it's how you can create and sell frostcaster etc type style stones...
