Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

EU players should get an ESO plus extention or some kind of compensation.

Most other games i play give little tokens as for unexpected maintenance at least that way something positive comes out of it.

It would be ace if they did for good will and all...

...but in the small print we all signed an agreement that we are happy for it to be this way.

I cant remember where it is exactly but I can remember reading it.

ZOS has actually been quite excellent with their support staff in my experience. Unfortunately server maintenance is a necessary evil that comes with running a live game. It would be nice to get something to make up for lost ESO+ time, or other things, but when it comes to the server being down, or general glitchiness (am I spelling that right?), or long queue times, or that kind of stuff that's somewhat expected when it comes to MMOs, unless it's an egregious offense you just kind of have to take it as it is. Now, if it were something like the EU server being down for a month, I'd think they'd refund EU ESO+ subscribers that month, or give them some equivalent benefit. But as far as I'm aware that isn't the case, and even if it were it might not be just that simple.

Why do you not see that it is a problem that EU server players with ESO+ often get worse service and a lacking/inaccessible product, but we pay the same? Would you find it reasonable if you bought a six pack of beer and when you got home you realized one of the beers were only 3/4 full? But even worse after several months of purchasing six-packs of beer you realized this happen on numerous occasions? Would you consider it fair and "to be expected" to not get any compensation or partial refund for an inadequate product? Why is this suddenly acceptable business practice when it's a game subscription?

It would be if there was something written on the beer saying you might be missing a beer under certain circumstances...EXACTLY LIKE THE TOS STATES...you know, the agreement you signed without reading?

    Have a nice day

Lol, you actually think that is okay? Is this how things work in America (im just assuming you're from over there, am I wrong), I can hardly believe I am actually reading this? Imagine that, a six pack of beer where on the side of it, with tiny print of course, a disclaimer is written "may not actually contain the stated amount". I guess we have very differing opinions then about what is acceptable business practices; and indeed if the six-pack beer example would be perfectly fine with you, well I guess I have no argument. But damn, that is some shoddy way to treat customers.

Once again, ignore the main message [the people paying your wages are mightily hacked off] and act with supercilious political correctness.
    Good job.
    Well done.
I hope you go to bed happy tonight with the knowledge that you have fulfilled your purpose on this planet to the very best of your capabilities.
