TL; DR

Disable superfetch. I read a lot of about it and in my case ofr ESO and some other games - it helped a bit but nothing noticable. AFAIK it only should help for hard disk users and in Win 7 as in newer Wins it's disabled by default if you use SSD as I have read (I have W7 on HDD).

it is not disabled on win 10. atl least not in my case or many others on multiple other forums. Thanks for watching ^_^

I don't see the point of this video. Don't people know already that they can go into video settings and change this? I mean is a tutorial video really necessary for people to learn and understand that there are video settings ingame that they can change?

Yes the video is needed for instructions. It doesnt just show in game settings. I explain what it does to the game a little and show a small windows setting change. Also I plan to make a video on anything I do because a lot of people are visual learners.

Good post, I already had the 4k but didnt have the super taken care of. I as well noticed my gpu throttling and wanted it too stop. Another way too do it is through Gforce Experience and optimize game to see it in the res as an option.

Also, another known issue with widescreens...if you dont turn on your vsync, you can cause tearing and stutters in your game play. Too test it, just stay in one place and move mouse fast from left to right. If it stutters real bad or what you are looking at doesnt stay clear turn your vsync on and try again to see the difference, mine runs 10x smoother w/it on. Thx for the advice and hope it works!!

Btw, my superfetch "was" on and im "on" Win10.

Thanks for watching ^_^ and the feedback. The tearing issue is a good call for vsync I just tell everyone to turn it off because not only does it make the GPU usage go down but also with how poor in game performance is sometimes it can cause other issues. but mainly in PvP. Again thanks for the feedback

Megadeth ... How I missed this thread the world may never know but , once again , you Sir are a genius . Mucho gracious compadre . Now no more Summerset stutter and slow frame rates . Incredible change .
