Selling Trial skins on ebay or other websites

There’s a lot of people selling gold on ebay and other websites. Now people are selling set pieces and the occasionally person selling a gamertag. Haven’t seen anyone selling trial skins or any for that matter. Is it not profitable enough or has no one thought of it yet? I have a full time job and have a family, it’s hard to always be available to do trials. How much money do you think these skins are worth? Are you willing to pay cash for them?

Selling anything in game for real life cash is bannable and against the TOS. Not worth the risk at all.

They aren't worth as much as keeping your account.

I mean, then that's their problem if/when they get banned.

I'd rather keep my account and not have those things, than have those things and wonder if today's the day my account gets banned.

It has been like this since day one, there is lot of sites doing this just google eso gold, here is one of them that players can list gold, accounts, items and power leveling for sale just google playerauctions eso, i did a quick look at it, and there is even end game players that have tick tock title ...etc listing their account, i hope zenimax put someone to investigate this website and many other and do a ban wave.

Most of them have probably been banned accounts and they are trying to sell a banned account

I'd much rather earn them myself. And the fact that I most probably never will, doesn't bother me.
Will only make the skin more valuable to me if/when I do manage to unlock it myself.

    Hey everyone!

Firstly, thank you everyone who correctly noticed that selling trial skins or other items for real world currency is indeed a violation of the Terms of Service. If you should come across someone attempting to do so, please make sure to report it to the Support Team so it can be investigated.

Here's the exact wording of the ToS:

"You agree that You have no ownership right or title in or to any such Downloadable Content, including, but not limited to, the virtual goods appearing or originating in the Services (such as a Game) or any other attributes associated with any Account or Services. ZeniMax does not recognize any purported transfers of virtual property executed outside of the Game, or the purported sale, gift or trade in the "real world" of anything that appears or originates in a Service or a Game. Accordingly, You may not sell, and You may not assist others in selling, Service(s) or in-Game items for real currency, or exchange those items for value outside of the Services. Evidence of any attempt to redeem Downloadable Content for a purported exchange, sale, gift or trade in the "real world" will result in the immediate suspension or termination of Your Account."

And if you'd like to see the full Terms of Service, they're also linked here.

    Thanks again!

I've seen a lot of people selling gold and accounts. People do it very openly. Unless everyone who sees these kinds of things going on reports them, nothing will change.

Although people do not have ownership of the items..they make it clear their time is being sold. Which has held up in court.

At anyrate..it's against ebay tos as well to sell digital items of any kind. A single report to these ebay listings will have them removed

What about getting someone to level your mages guild for you. Would that be a bankable offense if you paid them? @ZOS_Chris

Yes, bannable. Account sharing is also against TOS. Especially if is paid for.

Setting aside the TOS issue, letting anyone else log in to your account - especially for money - is appallingly, staggeringly stupid.

No need, if you really wanted to violate the ToS you'd buy in-game gold and then pay somebody with said gold.

Considering I just heard about the first ban for selling a polymorph for Cash. As least there is proof it happens now.
