Where do I find the preliminary quest for the Clockwork City DLC?

I can't remember the name of the quest, but it's similar to how 'The Missing Prophecy' was a preliminary quest for the Morrowind chapter.

I watched someone play this, on the PTS I believe, on YouTube.

Is the quest even still about?

    Port to CWC, an NPC will come harrass you at the wayshrine and give you the quest.

    ...oh, the CWC quest that doesn't take place IN CWC? That starts from any Mage's guild, I believe. There's a note, I think.

    Correct. It's the Order of the Eye dispatch.

    Of Knives and Long Shadows is the quest name or something like that. For the prologue to cwc

    I'm not 100% on this, but from what I remember from another DLC, this quest can be started from the "collections"-menu at the DLC page.
    You reveal yourself best in how you play.

    Kelces - Argonian Templar
    Farel Donvu - Dark Elf Sorcerer
    Navam Llervu - Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Aniseth - Wood Elf Warden
    Therediel - Wood Elf Templar
    Nilonwy - Wood Elf Nightblade
    Jurupari - Argonian Warden
    Kú-Chulainn - Argonian Sorcerer
    PC - EU

    If you port straight to CWC there will be an npc to give you a quest which will take you back to Deshaan and meet with Divayth Fir or you can start the quest in Mournhold bank.

    The prelude quest starts inside any Mage Guild, but you may want to head directly to Mournhold in Deshaan, as the quest sends you there first anyway. So, Mournhold Mage Guild is your optimal starting point. On completion, you will also see a quest-giver in the bank in Mournhold, to get you on your way to CWC.
