    do u know ddukes build? this new kind of offmeta fast peaced magdks... i made one myself and loving it a way more than the old slow blocking ones

    nobody expects a stamDK to petrify you for a juicy 8.5k power lash. :)


    Its actually more reliable than a 2h based stamDk since the power lash is fast and undodgeable, and does very high damage(While healing you for massive amounts), with much more reliability+crowd control. The only reason this isnt as ridicilous as it sounds is because magDK lacks a natural class execute, which will probably doom this build against very tanky players.

    but then again, you don't really need an execute when your spammable hits like an ultimate.

    To be honest I don't have a hard time killing tanks. I have 53.4k magicka with 1400 regen and a 20k shooting star tooltip. Just save the tanks for last and bombs away :P

    I am running; 4 necro, 3 willpower, 3 spinner's, 1 domihaus, 1 grothdar. 5/1/1 light. All max magicka glyphs. All recovery glyphs. tri food/mage mundus. Inner light with shooting star on the front bar is a must in order to get 53.4k max magicka.
    Dual wield nirnhoned/sharpened with nirnhoned on the backbar.

    Sometimes I put on two piece grothdar for extra pressure, though it's really not necessary. Just depends on my mood.

    I do support the change to whip being dodgeable. however I don't like the cooldown thing. Its a nerf to solo players.
    they shouldn't have messed up with off-balance. All they did now is removing counterplay with unstoppable dark deal-beam spam.

    And magblades are very,very strong, but compared to magDKs, you do have some ways to play against them. unless they go full melee, their burst is dodgeable, reflectable. Which at leasts gives you a chance to fight back.

    Even the cooldown is not a direct nerf tbh. Along with stun. Higher exploiter uptime. More heal etc. It can proc of ccs more often. 3s vs 5s. Also, since off-balance isnt consumed if no stun, the powerlash can be used straight after the 3s with no setup.

    The only issue is before you could interrupt/lightning wall and get more procs between the 5s off-balance icd. Now it's hard limited.

    well, can't really talk about it outside of the dodge nerf, which was very needed in my opinion.

    but what I really wonder is,, when your power lash its dodged, does it go on the cooldown period, where you can not cast it again?

    if thats the case It might be a bit too harsh for mDK in PvP, but the cooldown is way too short to make a difference in 1v1 scenarios, where magDk becomes OP.

    I mean the class needs less of the 1v1 cheese and more open world utility, It would be a total shame if I'm not gonna be able to get multiple power lashes in a 1vX scenario.

    Max magicka does more damage than stacking spell damage I've found.

    putting together another video as we speak. Been playing other games so it won't be as long of a video but it'll be something. Kinda wish I was on PC tbh as the frames on console suck.
