If you get kicked from a group, you are too good for them anyway.
Not always. Sometimes a kick is warranted. I have done a few dungeons and trials where the people in question deserved a kick. And no, I wasn’t the group leader who kicked said people.
Perfect examples are Damage-Dealers who strictly use a bow in a trial, and light attack spam with Snipe every here and there. That in my opinion warranted the kick that they received. Or the people who call themselves tanking with dual-wield daggers and a restoration staff. That type of stuff deserves kicks, in my opinion.
I mean, let me ask you this. Would you feel comfortable in a trial with a healer who’s healing with a bow and 2H? Claiming that their Twilight (Sorcerer pet) and Vigor are strong enough to keep the group afloat? Would you REALLY feel comfortable in those situations, my guy?

This went on for almost ten minutes and I left when we wiped to the second phase of adds. It's amazing how stupids refuse to listen to even the simplest advice.
It's like trying to explain to people to stop running from planar inhibitor because you get no dps/heals. You ever notice when you quit groups and reque they put you in the exact same group you left from?

That can't be right.
Unless it's the only group in the queue, if you lose a member and queue for replacement, you should be at the bottom of the queue...

I dunno what to say, but it happens periodically on ps4-na

Alright, so, technically, once the group is formed, you leave the queue and enter the instance.
I guess there are very few people using it then, because if you rejoin it you should be put at the bottom.
That said, I'm not sure if there's some sort of priority for groups near the end of a dungeon.

I'm not sure how it works. I quite thinking too much about it tbh. For safety reasons.
You probably got kicked for attitude.
You probably got kicked for attitude.
My money is on this. People usually aren't so stupid to not know when someone is condescending towards them. Literally every time I see someone complaining about how stupid people in pugs are either here or in game chat, I wonder if they realize what a massive hemorrhoid they are presenting themselves to be.
The other thing is--and I say this as someone who has taught everything from music lessons to basic reading skills--people assume their explanations are good. Most gamers I find have no idea how to explain the difference between LAs and HAs so why should we expect them to be able to explain vet mechanics? Teaching people is a skill, and it begins with respecting the people you teach enough to realize when you're failing at explaining things to them. Also realizing you need to adjust your approach and not just assuming they're unteachable, because everyone learns differently and very few people learn when their "teacher" is treating them like trash. I don't think the OP has these skill sets, tbh, and probably needs to stop thinking they do. LOL.

"Please don't kill the spiders or the boss will enrage".
Right... maybe it wasn't clear what a "spider" is, I mean... there are a lot of spiders
"Please break free or the boss will heal up"
I guess the concept of breaking free (game mechanic) was not clear...
Ok, good talk.
Still, the best way to get the dungeon runs you want, is to make friends or join a relevant guild)
Any dungeon where a single group member can cause the entire group to wipe, is usually a guaranteed wipe in a PuG. Thankfully there aren't many where this can happen.

It's more of ...well social skills. You have to well get along in a team. To me, I can imagine you yelling of a sorts or nagging, but overall lowering moral enough that 3 people said you didn't belong. As to say there's ways to achieve better results.

If you PUG, then you KNOW you'll be put in with people who aren't very skilled. Makes me thinks you do it on purpose because you get an ego rush from doing exactly what you just did. Why do you PUG? You can just join a guild where you'll be put in with higher-skilled people, but no, you'd rather PUG, screw people over, and then run to the forums to tell us all how wonderful you are.Ep1kMalware wrote: »I was just in a darkshade 2 vet pug. I got a bunch of bitter hate mail for leaving, all sorts of it. I guess they probably whiped. I said not a single word to anybody the entire dungeon, amd did 99.9% of the work. It's funny how salty kids get when you don't do that last .01%.
Anyway, it made my night.

Nope, teamates were too stupid. I got kicked because teamates killed spiders and I reset boss, explained it twice more.
2nd time I got kicked after getting pulled into mephalas realm after explaining portal mechanics for 'abandoning team'
WHY is evsryone so dumb lol? Not knowing mechanics is understandable, we all start somewhere. But teaching people how to do veteran content really feels like throwing pearls before swine.
Ep1kMalware wrote: »Ep1kMalware wrote: »Thermoluminescence wrote: »You can't fix stupid.
Zos needs to release dungeon mechanics every quarter. Give us 1 quarter to experience the mystery of new content. Then afterwards drop a tutorial for it. That way there's no excuse.
Huh? Just google for dungeon mechanics - plenty of youtube videos and text descriptions with screenshots
EDIT to add: (people who can't be bothered to do that aren't going to look at a Zeni tutorial either)
Yeh but you got to holdem accountable somehow. I did a vet falkreath, we got to last boss and asked if everyone knew mechanics. 1 dd did not, so I toldem to look it up real quick and I'd answer any questions he had afterward.
Low and behold mr 'i dont have a mic' managed to produce a means of screaming at the group for treating him wrongly (literal screaming from a fully grown adult). We kicked him, told new dd same thing, and we got through it on the 2nd go.
I can't tell if there's entitlement issues or is almost everyone just insane lol
