Normal DLC dungeons are the longest queues I've ever seen, once waiting for almost two hours for either Mazzatun or Falkreath, (granted I was questing all the while) but any standard Dungeon queue should be less than an hour, usually roughly half hour at the longest.
Another thing you have to realize is that your banking on their being a DPS, Tank, and Healer all having queued for a random dungeon, then have to hope theres not another DPS in front of you thats queuing for a specific dungeon, that they all get queued to instead. You can always find the sheet for upcoming pledges, and watch for the day when yours comes up and queue repeatedly. Guaranteed you'll get multiple runs when its pledge day
maybe i'm wrong...but if I want to do a particular dungeon I should be able to select the dungeon in the finder and that should group me with people that also would like to complete that dungeon....well...either there are groups that are doing the dungeon I would like to do and don't need my character type...or nobody is wanting to do that dungeon...either way...i've waited in que for hours and don't get grouped...this is frustrating...I just want an option so I can play and enjoy the game.

And you're queuing for dps right? As in you only have the DPS marker checked on Group Finder?
If by chance you ARE on PC-NA I need to grind some Crypt of Hearts myself for some Ebon Armory gear, worst case scenerio I can group up with you later this evening. But something is not adding up I have never seen a vanilla dungeon queue last that long. Granted it is mid-day in US, if you're in the NA server there could be alot of people at work but STILL, I would think it would be finding a group for you
I queue as a healer in vets and healer/dps in normals. If queueing takes more than 5 minutes I restart the queue and it finds the group for me in a minute mostly.
It's sad that DDs have to wait for hours. It means that there're really tons of DDs compared to tanks/healers in ESO. I wonder why? I've played a lot of MMOs and I never seen such imbalance in roles players prefer.
But I don't like the idea of hiring NPCs for dungeon runs. I don't like it because all games I've played had this feature when they had almost "dead" servers. ESO's doing fine (well, mostly fine, at least it hasn't any lack of active players), and ESO hasn't such problem as non-popular dungeons, so you actually can find a group for any dungeon. The problem is there're too many DDs in a queue, and making NPC tanks and NPC healers is not the best way to solve this problem, I believe.
