Crit Build and CP

I am working on a crit build dps character and because I suck at math I was wondering what the best load out with my CP would be in the Ritual Tree would be for stamina. I see builds that go 100 Mighty then 61 into Precise Strikes. What is the difference if I go 100 Precise and 61 Mighty?

Not sure on the actual answer aside from googling or paying but with DB's shield changes coming you may want to consider something different.

    100 CP - 25%
    61 CP - 17.7%

So for example, say snipe does 10k base damage.

Using 100CP in mighty will make this 12.5k base damage, and with 61CP in precise strikes you'll get an added 17.7% crit damage, so that will be 167.7% for crits.

    12500 x 1.677 = 20962.5 crit damage

With 61CP in mighty the base damage will be 11770, with 100CP in precise strikes you'll get 25% extra crit damage, so that will be 175%.

    11770 x 1.75 = 20597 crit damage.

So from this it shows that having 100CP into mighty will actually give you a higher base and crit damage.

I see this is old but tyvm for that explanation! I’m new and trying to build for pvp. I want to get the vicecannon of venom set so I’m wondering what I should invest into to increase my chances of getting a Crit?

Second question mighty governs abilities and weapon expert governs light and heavy attacks. Why choose abilities over attacks?

I use light attacks with bow like crazy. Maybe I’m doing it wrong? But as warden I get heals from light heavy attacks.

This thread is very old, and CPs were different back then. They have much more diminishing return now and you should not put 100 points into anything.
