All jokes aside, I think a bat pet would be a cool addition to the game since that new Dark Brotherhood cave is coming out.

Bat pets would be awesome, especially one of those four foot African bats that just walk around everywhere.

Also, thought you were talking about lines of ants.

Well, those were different times, you know... where shocker-rocker stars could get high as a kite and bite the head of a bat, and noone would bat an eye... :p;)

I feel like it's extremely wrong to look back fondly of and respect someone that partook in harming an innocent animal, much less make jokes about it.

Last I heard, the story was that it was a live* bat somebody had thrown on stage, and Ozzy thought it was a prop. Went to bite the head off for the crowd, and found a nasty surprise.

Well, without going too offtopic, look at how many of our television and movie idols from the past have shall we say, fallen from grace.

Those heroes of yesteryear had dark secrets that are being brought forth...

Try being in the middle of a loud metal concert with both low potential visibility and blinding stage lights, and throw some drugs into the mix. Ozzy himself said he thought it was a prop.

Lol, I think its extremely wrong to be so sensitive. Ozzy is a legend...he deserves respect. Btw, that bat should've been more "head" strong. I also bet that bat will never be the "head" of a major corporation. Too bad the bat will never get ahead in life...I've got more!

Go watch Spinal Tap and rethink who deserves your respect. But hey, for all we know, your respect isn't worth much, so whatevs.

As for being a legend, it's all marketing. Ozzy's actually a right proper b******--go read up on what he did to Bob Daisley sometime. Daisley wrote the music and lyrics for Ozzy's first two solo albums, got shafted by getting only co-writer cred and then shafted again over royalties, and oh yeah, Ozzy had Bob's parts on those albums re-recorded for rerelease so he wouldn't have to continue paying Bob for music he wrote and Ozzy still makes a ton off of. And don't even get me started on the drug and booze circus Ozzy was running on his tour that resulted in Randy Rhodes getting killed. (Full disclosure: I'm an accomplished guitarist, although retired now due to disability. I know people who knew Randy. Ozzy is trash.)

As for the bat nonsense, Ozzy himself admits what an asinine thing that was. He claims he thought it was a rubber bat--he probably was drugged/drunk out of his mind so who knows what he was thinking--and that he had to get rabies shots at the ER afterwards. It's Darwin Award worthy, tbh. What a hero.

Didn't really pay attention to Ozzy until The Osbornes tbh. Was more of an AC/DC fan personally.

Did go to Ozzfest a couple times, though.

The official story, with statements from the person in the crowd who threw it on stage, was that it was already dead.

Hard to say if that's true or not I guess but that's the story.

Just because their biology contributes to them carrying more disease doesn't mean they willfully try to kill people with them. That's like saying someone with a giant tumor on their face is guilty of being ugly. They aren't TRYING to be ugly. Look up what innocent means.
