So ive always been wondering but when i enter the higher lunarium and fight the final boss, are u on the moon or where exactly is that place located? Also i want to know more about the paintings that were etched in the walls after u defeat the fang of lorkhaj.

It's just like the final Boss room in Banished Cells. The room itself is still on Nirn but the wall has turned into a tear between the Mundus and whatever realm of Oblivion or other plane is involved.

there was a constellation of a bird on one of the walls, or maybe its something else, i dunno if anyone else noticed it
