It's not even that hard, track your success rate, track the average time it takes to complete, track the preferred role, match and make.
Hell, just track the achievements, worst case scenario you were carried.
Instead we get the GF:
"You want to group ? sure, I'll just grab the first 3 people I find... oh, sorry, missed one... hehe, let me try again... whoops, missed that one again, wait, I can do it... aww, missed it again..."
"Hey, GF, we're already grouped, and we all accepted, roles are good"
"No, you're mistaken, someone is not ready, tee-hee"

Hell yes! This is the only mmo I've played that didn't have one!

Nope, teamates were too stupid. I got kicked because teamates killed spiders and I reset boss, explained it twice more.
2nd time I got kicked after getting pulled into mephalas realm after explaining portal mechanics for 'abandoning team'
WHY is evsryone so dumb lol? Not knowing mechanics is understandable, we all start somewhere. But teaching people how to do veteran content really feels like throwing pearls before swine.

I do firmly believe there should be a few checkboxes in the dungeon finder tool - "want to do quest", "need all bosses", full pledge run only", "looking for speed run/no death run" etc - may result in slightly longer queues for people restricting their options, but would greatly reduce disappointment.
(EDIT: Still, the best way to get the dungeon runs you want, is to make friends or join a relevant guild)

It's more of ...well social skills. You have to well get along in a team. To me, I can imagine you yelling of a sorts or nagging, but overall lowering moral enough that 3 people said you didn't belong. As to say there's ways to achieve better results.
1) Explained politely to a 'bowtard' that stealing half the adds and then running backwards forever spamming whatever, was making my job as healer harder, as tank gets priority. After a couple more pulls and him dying I said, please stay with my view range, as I am not going out of my way to heal him if he keeps it up. Response "Go suck a D***"... he was crown, stopped for a bit, so def tried to have me kicked. The other DD and Tank had no issues with being healed, buffed and staying alive, so guess they voted no. He shut up, stayed closer and no more deaths.
2) Explaining RoM to couple new guys. DD who has been just jumping up and down, "Man lets just do this", runs in, screws the Chudan charge/bubble mechanic causes wipe, cos both DD's were reasonably low and and squishy.
3) I don't even want to go into the nMoL pug I had earlier today.... yes normal..
Have to say though, there have been others who have appreciated having things explained.. walked through, and even though there were still wipes, the appreciation and actually trying to do better, made it worth it.

Not likely. Projected emotion is popular among the dense. As soon as you start trying to provide advice, they will immediately snap and shut you down for trying to tell them how to play their class and all manner of verbal abuse follows until it's you that feels like your moral has been lowered enough to quit the group. Such people are so used to being seeped in hatred and attacked by less kind souls that they have a hair trigger response to even constructive criticism, which ironically is a pair of words they've likely never heard before.

I don’t believe this. Nobody can be that bad.

Feanor N’ah it’s pretty bad on PS4-NA. And if memory serves me correctly, OP plays on PS4-NA. I’ve been apart of PUG’s that would continuously wipe to Veteran Blackheart Haven and Veteran City of Ash 2. In fact, to this very day the vast majority of PUGs struggle with Veteran Direfrost Keep. I have been apart of more Veteran Direfrost Keep PUGs, that ended in dismantling the group than I can count.
It’s literally to the point that nowadays I refuse to PUG, unless if the tank and or healer are buddies and or guildies. If I don’t know at least 1 of the 2 players filling those roles, I won’t even bother doing a PUG. I’d rather just do the content: With guildies, friends, or solo it.
Hahaha did he just yell so loud you heard from across the ocean or something?:DEp1kMalware wrote: »Ep1kMalware wrote: »Thermoluminescence wrote: »You can't fix stupid.
Zos needs to release dungeon mechanics every quarter. Give us 1 quarter to experience the mystery of new content. Then afterwards drop a tutorial for it. That way there's no excuse.
Huh? Just google for dungeon mechanics - plenty of youtube videos and text descriptions with screenshots
EDIT to add: (people who can't be bothered to do that aren't going to look at a Zeni tutorial either)
Yeh but you got to holdem accountable somehow. I did a vet falkreath, we got to last boss and asked if everyone knew mechanics. 1 dd did not, so I toldem to look it up real quick and I'd answer any questions he had afterward.
Low and behold mr 'i dont have a mic' managed to produce a means of screaming at the group for treating him wrongly (literal screaming from a fully grown adult). We kicked him, told new dd same thing, and we got through it on the 2nd go.
I can't tell if there's entitlement issues or is almost everyone just insane lol

Simple:
1) there are many dumb people
2) even if they are dumb, these people often have money
3) gaming industry cater to those people to get their money
4) you get dumb people in your game
Never be surprised about people's stupidity. Every time you think there is a limit, someone can just surpass it.
I see it differently.

When the game first came out eso was another 15$/month. Which is pretty common for games like this. Normally when games stick with this model the overall quality of the game is much better.
