Storing Furniture - please give me more space

So I've bought a handful of homes furnished, and literally have thousands of pieces of furniture now. I am using several houses simply as storage space for furniture. My 480 slot bank is full to the brim with furniture. Furnishing any new place now is a nightmare as I need to port back and forth to several houses just to find what I want. First world problems, I know. But still annoying as hell.

The storage chests coming with next update will HELP, but are absolutely not enough - not even close.

ZOS, PLEASE, for the love of God, give me something like the Craft Bag for furniture - an infinite storage for all my furniture that I can bring with me. I'm a Subscriber already, and would gladly pay extra for this feature, even if I think it's ridiculous that this is even an issue. You are penalizing me for loving your housing system.

How do other hoarders like me deal with this problem? I can't be the only one out there with this issue.

Definitely running into this problem myself. I don't own an actual home yet (just the free inn rooms) because I'm still undecided of what I want. I DO fish a lot though; which means I have more fish, kelp, coral, and seashells than I know what to do with, on top of some of the other items I have found/acquired. Thank goodness for ESO+ and the duplicate bank space because the furniture tab is getting out of hand. I'm going to have to start shoving stuff in inn rooms, rather than actually decorating, or buy a cheap house to act as a small warehouse. I wanted my first purchase of a home to be meaningful and exciting, but, pretty soon I'm going to have to bite the bullet.

I bought extra properties to be warehouses. My place in north bankorai looks like an ikea, with beds on the front lawn, a flea market of gallery items and paintings on the upper porch, and a backyard full of plants. It’s a bit silly, but it feels like real, life shopping when I go to find stuff for a new place.

Maybe not the most efficient solution, but I’ve spent maybe 1 million gold on 2-4 places to use this way, and I figure the gold investment is less than anything Zos will offer for storage upgrades.

Also...home storage...360 slots, that should hold a thousand or more of your furnishings.

For sure, as I said I'm using several houses as storage already. And yeah, the home storage will help too, but it's still far from an optimal solution. I'd like to cut down on the clunkiness of using these otherwise lovely systems.

Furniture storage definitely. There must be a more practical way of storing all of this furniture we're collecting. I just feel that furniture shouldn't have to take up space in my bank (nor my incoming storage chests), just like crafting materials don't. A special storage for furniture would be much appreciated.

Exactly. That's precisely what I want. I can't fathom why they think this is a good solution. They are literally punishing us for being into the system.

Houses should have a shared furniture store. First we would move furniture from our inventory into the store and they would stay there invisible, just like the craftbag works. Placing an item would take them from the store and taking away just puts them back to the store.

This would also make decorators actually useful feature because items would never leave our control and we wouldn't need to first pile the items up into air.

Furniture bag for ESO+ members should be a thing. Exactly like the craft bag. Account wide, nearly infinite storage. Ideally, there would be an option for non plus players as well, but if it mimics the craft bag, that seems unlikely.

I have started buying smaller (cheaper) houses (the little apartments less than 20K gold, to start) and using them to store my excess furnishings. I'm doing this because I already filled up the free apartments. I have nicknamed them things like "Rocks & Blocks," "Plants," and "Lighting" to help myself stay organized.
