Hello everyone my friend and i played eso on release and got to level 40 and took a long break. We’re thinking about getting back into the game but we have some questions.
-is the pve side of the game (raids, dungeons, etc) still very populated or will there be long que times?
-is their a lot of pve content to get through and generally how long would it take us to catch up through all of it.
-Will we need to invest money? If so how much?
-when we do catch up what exactly is end game like? As in what do you guys that are at the end do on the game on a regular basis.
-what would you recommend we focus on first, second, and third.
-Finally, is the game overall in a good state and honestly worth returning to in terms of bugs and overall imbalance?

✭✭✭✭✭There is no sub, the crown store is convenience items, nothing you have to have, DPS still face longer dungeons ques where Tanks and Healers don't, If your PvE questing, you won't see as many crowds as before so it is little more immersive. As far as Questing content, if you click through quests, you will spend weeks doing it, if you listen to dialogs and such, you will spend months. We have One Tamriel so you can pick a zone in any alliance and quest it.
As for endgame, lots of dungeons, several trials, battle grounds, dueling, PvP, Imperial City etc. You can even do a lot of this stuff at L40
The game is in a good state, other than the lag in PvP that is an ongoing project. Never was really buggy.Edited by Nestor on February 1, 2018 8:59PMEnjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

RPGplayer13579✭✭✭✭If you play as a tank or healer the que time is very short.
I would say there is a lot of PVE content. Craglorn, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Morrowind, Clockwork City, and I am sure there is and will be more to come.
To get Morrowind and the DLC yes you will need to invest some money.
No idea to be honest. Work on your skills, equipment, quests and daily quests. Or start a different character with a different class and different weapon focus.
Focus. 1st get to level CP 160. 2nd Which skills you want to learn and morph. 3rd pick which weapons, armor, accessories that work best with your class and skills.

pattyLtd✭✭✭✭✭Yea, all bugs you remember are probably still in the game in some form and performance is kinda bad right now.
But if its worth returning you is a question nobody can answer for you.
However apart from frustrations here and there I personally still like the game alot and think its worth it.
Balance is pretty good atm imo but i am sure many disagree so ymmv.
No need to invest money untill you confirmed for yourself that its worth it unless you are coming back for morrowind ofc.
Focus on what you enjoy about the game nothing else really matters much tbh?
