Why do mudcrabs break my stealth?

Is that WAI? I try to get somewhere in stealth on the beaches, and then a crab comes over and I'm "detected"!

✭✭✭It's the Thieve's Guild patch that allowed mudcrabs to detect you. Before that they couldn't.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶
