Why does the vampire skill line only have two active skills?

That wouldn’t make sense, it’s an effect not a class. More skills means you can’t use others. Honestly it should be 100% passives
    I disagree.
As a nightblade, I have 3 skill lines and 15 active skills.
I couldnt use them all if I wanted to, not and combine them with other skills from other trees.
Your argument is erroneous and invalid.

Vampires, Werewolves, and honestly *any* supernatural creature; Lich, Wight, et al...should all have their own inherent abilities, in addition to the existing abilities for all other classes.

The problem is what kind of skill to give them that wouldnt necessarily overpower other existing skills?
Any advantage of one thing versus another will always result in the inferior thing being discarded.
This is why cookie-cutter templates exist, and why many skills in almost all classes are never used.
To make all skills equal would defeat the point of earning them in the first place.

    Bosmer Race Skill:

    "Command Animal"
    Range: 10 meters
    4300 Magicka

Shoot a mind-bending wave at a **NON-BOSS** animal, forcing your soul into the animal's and control the animal's movements and use the animal's skills for 20 seconds or until it dies (sort of like that mind-controlling hat in Mario: Odyssey.)

Drawback? Your actual character will just be standing there dazed, and can be killed. Once your character is killed, you will automatically die once your 20 seconds of controlling the animal are over.

    Morphs

Animal's Protection: Your non-animal character (that is stunned for the duration of controlling the animal) gains Major Resolve and Major Ward, increasing its physical and spell resistance by 5280 for the 20 seconds (or less) that you spend controlling the animal. (yay your unprotected character now is more protected and can't be killed by overland monsters)

Commander of Beasts: Increase the duration of controlling the animal to 30 seconds (from 20.) You may switch to another animal that is within range of your controlled animal.

Of course, this skill is probably unplayable in vet dungeons/trials since you can only mind-control a very weak, non-boss ANIMAL. But it has its role-playing purposes...

With strength and intelligence comes hard work.

Which is why not a lot of people are strong nor intelligent.
