In IC the other day you tried to instagib me with that meteor-cage-etc combo while I was fleeing a DC zerg, but I survived somehow and came back to instagib you a few minutes after.

But then in the next district you instagibbed me back with the same combo. You're super consistent with the CC timing, so that's cool to see.

There's something soothing about watching nice, consistent cancels with destro resto. You should consider doing some more video editting and making a montage out of your clips, you have some nice gameplay with really nice video quality.

That jumping tho... my head hurts just watching!

Something like 5 Destruction Mastery, 4 Necropotence and 2 magicka bonuses from monster sets I guess?

When I hit 58k it needed Magelight and Aegis, 5-1-1

2 max mag monster sets
4 Necropotence (3x max mag)
3 ancient Grace (1x max mag + % increase)
3 Shadow-Dancer (2x max mag)
Mage mundus
Health+mag food
Altmer

I honestly cannot come up with a gear combo to give more magica.

I don't think I had the most optimised traits though - and apart from weapons it was all purple. So the only way I think I could eke out a little more is by golding everything (enchants and gear) and making sure I had infused on the large and divines on the small (But I think I *mostly* did already anyway)

I can't see this taking it to 60k though, and can't figure out how to do it with a staff!

That is pretty much the build. You just need to run green food like Micah does. This is pretty much my DW build to the tee but with destro. My DW this patch can hit 61k magic with green food. Only thing I do different is willpower instead of ancient grace.



So I must say, it's pretty damn yolo to be running with no heal ward or bolt escape. I'm very curious as to how you are finding survivability in general play. @Micah_Bayer

Yeah pretty much that. Survivability is damn nice. I can tank a large amount of opponents for some time with the shield size. However if I am in a fight, there is no escape, but honestly streak is *** imo, not worth it in the slightest. Gap close. Streak. Gap close. Streak was very annoying so I took it off my bar. Mines hit like ***, stamina roll into all of them for fun lol so I took them off and I do fine. Only thing is to worry about fighting completely stamina which is rare.

I tried it, I couldn’t make it work with the aegis slots eating up all that utility space. You can’t fit a stun AND healing ward on it.

I use the third bar of overload to fit boundless storm and surge on. You can fit 2 shields on, an execute, And one cc. With force pulse and frags and curse.

@Micah_Bayer With so much damage, and with pressure from crushing shock, I think it may be feasible to sacrifice fury in open world for either heal ward or bolt escape. For duels and group play the execute is arguably necessary, but general 1vX solo roaming I feel like you need the extra protection or mobility. Have you ever experimented with this?

I've been testing with and without an execute. I get what you're saying. I could either have healing ward or streak in it's place...I am still deciding on what I like more though. Against troll king users who just heal for an insane amount, the execute works wonders on them because they just pop at a certain %. But even with an execute, they are incredibly hard to get that low. I will do more testing. Healing ward definitely makes you unkillable 1v2 no joke with those shield strengths.

Not sure your setup, but since you don't use healing Ward id recommend s&b on your back bar, unless you're 100% depending on heavy resto for resources. But it's an extra item and shield has the 1k magicka enchant.

That's what I've been running since shadow dlc and it hasn't let me down yet.

Still curious as to the 60k thing I'm at 57k with as much magicka as I can muster. I suppose I could replace spinner with destruction mastery but that's only useful on one bar, so not really worth it to me.

Nice clip. Very refreshing to see another pure damage build these days.
