should health bonuses go back to scaling better then magicka and stamina bonuses?

for anyone not a vet of ESO health (particularly from level up attribute points) used to be something like a 2-1 ratio compared to magicka and stamina

this means that stamina and magicka investment gave 100 points, while health investment gave 200 points.

however itemization wise the difference was a lot smaller, so it was "optimal" to put all your attributes into health, then gear for magicka and stamina.

ZOS addressed this by nerfing health bonuses from attributes, then WAY down the line actually balancing bonuses across all sources (attributes, food, gear, mundus, etc.) so that you could use any method to achieve your preferred stats without one clearly being "optimal"

and that has led to everyone (except 1 or 2 "tanks") to simply pump your main stat as that = damage

**break for clarity**

what I purpose is increasing the amount of health you get compared to stamina and magicka to make it a viable choice again. as right now anytime people see health on an item it might as well have no bonus at all, its just considered a wasted slot.

Nah. All it will do is change the meta to the optimal combination of attribute points and enchantments. Don't think it will really do anything other than move some papers around on a desk from one pile to another.

health, magicka, and stamina bonuses are already balanced point for point no matter location (I noted this in my post) there is no longer an optimal source of any attribute.

the only thing that would change is the fact that investing somewhat into health would actually have a decent impact on your survivability, and the choice between health or damage might not be skewed so far in damages favor as it is now.

how you choose to invest in health (gear, food, attribute points) would have no optimal source.

I see everyone doing the same thing as now - going for the "meta" minimum health (like 16k or 17k for PvE) and then dumping everything else into resource pools to increase DPS.

that's totally possible, and would remain as viable as it is now, no nerfs or nothing. but the possibility to drop maybe 1k stam / magicka for 2k hp just in case might also be nice.

its true that the best mitigation is dead enemies, but its also true that you do no damage when your dead.

anyway, it would be nice to have a choice again.
