Worst sets in the game?
Cleaning out my massivly horded inventory of partial set pieces. I know this is totally subjective, but what are some of the sets that when you recieve, you instantly decon, or don’t pick up at all?

Every time ZOS nerfs an overperforming set, they should buff two under-performing ones.

Ice Furnace needs to be on the list...the set looks like a mistake.... crusader needs on the list now...there are a lot of older sets that were useful in an earlier iteration but don't make sense now - so i think it would be really worthwile to go through old sets and look at them...they are already in the game and just go to "waste"1 -

✭✭✭✭✭to be honest i also do not understand why ZOS isn't doing that... it would only take one guy to go through the sets and come up with some ideas, put them on the test server and just see how the feedback is...players will tell you if they are up/ok/op...
For example the ice furnace set (yes im obsessed) - you just have to change the weapon damage intto magicka damage bonus and change the proc change to any frost damage and give it a cooldown to account for it and voila - a useful set6 -

Everything else I can kind of think of an excuse to use, except that. There are so many better alternatives it's ridiculous.

Just checked it and found it awesome for any non-DK/Warden tank, esp. in upd. 17
Personally Im sick of endless proc sets, and they continue to create them as if theres not enough. Points out at lazyness/inability to create something interesting. And meanwhile theres little to no good tanking support sets (where both first 3 bonuses are useful for tanks and the last bonus is useful for others), especially crafted onesRawr1 -

The chaotic whirlwind is junk.

What about using both sets ? (3 items) Adds 1096 Max Magicka
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) Gain Minor Force at all times, increasing your Critical Damage by 12%.
If the set was light armor it would be an ok-ish set, but since it´s heavy I can´t really find any usefulness for it.1 -

You can, have dual wield on each bar though and you would be missing out on the reason Stam dps is so high right now, thunderous volley set.How does one use lunar bastion..

Exodium✭✭✭✭Medusa, The Sargeant, Undaunted... Anything, Overwhelming, Tormentor, Spelunker, Just about any set from the DLC dungeons other than Monster helmets...
Lol I bet half the players who have overwhelming equipped in pvp and are of decent skill level would pk you pretty quickly. That set is very strong - amazing 2-4 pieces and a 5th set bonus that puts pressure and procs concussion.
If that's trash I don't know what else is.1 -
