As the end user it really isn't my problem how this is achieved. However it is our problem that the way in which it was implemented was poor.

The controls have to do somewhere. instead of addressing the power creep caused by CP, by getting rid of CP, ZOS keeps nerfing everything else.
So take another break, lets say a year. And all class skills with be completely stripped of their utility, all look the same, and do 1k damage each boosted 500% by 1000 champion points.
Is this the game you want? Because this is the game you are getting. The nerfings will continue until the champion system is destroyed,
