Crown pack suggestion

These are some cosmetic options I'd like to see implemented as crown purchases:

Crown Pack: Necromancer
Usable by: Sorcerors
Purchase this crown pack to unlock dark, necromantic knowledge for your sorceror. Applies the following cosmetic changes to sorcerors:
Daedric Summoning (Familiar/Volatile Familiar) -> Skeletal Warrior
Daedric Summoning (Clannfear) -> Reanimated Draugr
Daedric Summoning (Twilight/Twilight Matriarch/Twilight Tormentor) -> Skeletal Mage
Daedric Summoning (Storm Atronach) -> Flesh Atronach
Daedric Summoning (Bound armor/Bound Armaments/Bound Aegis) -> Bone Armor
All other Sorceror Spells gain a red hue/coloration

Crown Pack: Beastmaster
Usable by: Wardens
Purchase this crown pack to enhance your warden's arsenal of animal companions. Applies the following cosmetic changes to Wardens:
Animal Companion (Feral Guardian/Eternal Guardian/Wild Guardian) -> Senche-Raht Lion, Dire Wolf, or Kagouti skin (select which in the companion skins interface)
Animal Companion (Dive/Cutting Dive/Screaming Cliff Racer) -> Hawk Skin
Animal Companion (Scorch/Subterranean Assault/Deep Fissure) -> Duneripper Skin
Animal Companion (Betty Netch/Blue Betty/Bull Netch) -> Nixad Skin

Crown Pack: Daedric Cleric
Usable by: Templars
Purchase this crown pack to enhance your templar's abilities with daedric power. Applies the following cosmetic changes to templars:
All aedric spear abilities now form a daedric trident
All templar abilities gain a blue-purple hue/coloration

Couldnt think of any options for nightblades or dragonknights but I'm sure there's something that could be done for those.

This is a really cool idea. A way to create a sort of "mini-class" without having to create a whole one.

Started off strong, then you flat out skimped on the Templar and gave up on everyone else

Nice idea but poorly implemented, you should get a job with Zos you'd fit right in

Lol. How can this be poorly implemented when it's nothing but a suggestion from an user in a forum? It's not his job to work this out to the very detail of everything. He is just posting ideas. Keep your *** together.

NB kinda has the bloodmage thing going on already with the reds and black. Perhaps Druid?

Overall, replace the colors with dark greens and maybe golds
Shades become double Spriggans, or Strangler for the ranged morph, imagine it grabbing your toon back to safety)
Twisting Path becomes twitchy thorny vines
Refreshing Path becomes flowery vines,
Cloak is now that weird bee/bug disguise
Blur causes leaf swirls

Stuff like that

As for DKs, how does Master of Metal sound as a theme?

Supernova -> Blackhole
Vampire's bane (and the other morphs) -> a skull flying at the enemy with purple or green glowing effects

I love this idea! I'd totally buy these packs if they were available! My main is an ancient Altmer vampire who practised necromancy while mortal and after he was turned. It would definitely suit him better!

What a great idea! It would add a TON of variety without having to add multiple new classes. ZOS should definitely take this idea forward, I know I'd buy it.

I agree. We even have a category for skill skins, but there's only one item at the moment (warden's grey bear), so why not?
I'd certainly buy those packs... Seeing the same animations for years gets boring.

I agree. This is an awesome idea to give different feels to classes without making new classes or needing to worry extensively about a sixth/seventh/etc class to balance with the rest. I quite like the druid nightblade idea as well. Would love to see something like this. The possibilities of different versions of each class are pretty extensive and could go beyond just one variation of each.

Not everyone is fully vested in every class, nor does every class really need equal treatment.

I'm sure others have better ideas for the nightblade and dragonknight.

I've always wondered why skins/morphs for pets aren't sold in the crown store. Can my khajiit warden have a sench guardian please?

And while we're at it, could we have werecats too? Of course some skill names would have to change: Howl of Despair -> Meow of Dispair, Rousing Roar -> Rousing Purr etc.

Problem is nightblade skills already look like blood/shadow. Would need to be something different; maybe they could have something to do with the nightingales? Abilities granted by nocturnal could be a little different.

Um excuse you their proper name is Clown Crates

Also why not let us mix up aesthetics? Sure for clarity's sake these packs would have to be disabled in PvP but cmon, it would be so cool.

The problem is that they aren't cosmetic. If they merely overrode an existing model, they would be, but these would require new skill icons, new skill text, new skill animations, and new attack/effect scaling.

Functionally, even if they provide the same effects, you're asking for new skills additions. And as you discovered in your post, it's hard to not only think up ideas for everybody, but to balance them so each addition feels equal across all five classes.

Which is why everyone will have to live with what they have until such time as ZOS can introduce new a new skill or two for every class under a single update.
