POLL: How enthused are you to log in and play ESO each day?
Very excited each day i get to log in to play especially after work or on weekends, tons of stuff to do and plenty of bosmer lasses to save!
...are Bretons then mongrels,or paragons?
The answer,of course,is both(though if you call a Breton
a mongrel,he is liable to feed you an inch or two of steel).
The passionate race of Bretons embodies the strengths
of both men and mer-as well as there flaws.
On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 (I was about to uninstall the game before reading this) to 10 (Can't I just live in ESO / Who needs sleep?) How enthused are you to login and play ESO each day?
Good one Defa!
I wish there would be comments next to every number.
Also you need to add the experience with the game in the pool as well.
New players will always mark it 10!
The veterans thoght...that's where it might get interesting!!!
if this pool was made 3 years ago id give a 10 since that's how I used to spend my life...now due to the complete ignorance constant lagfest in pvp and no improvement regarding it its just a 5...praise be my pve guild im doing hm trials with...else right now im so pissed at ESO that I wouldn't even start the game...good game that gets killed slowly...
I enjoy the game but since my entire guild fell apart and only 2 of us play and only I play regularly, I get on once a day to do my crafting. I'm tired of the vet levels on my master crafter but I'm planning to do the skyshards because at this point that is the only thing worth doing on her. After she has all the skyshards to complete her crafting, she will be retired to crafting only and I'll be playing one of my more fun characters who are lower level. I don't like the vet content but I'm planning to do the expansion and the dlc on my favorite character, my Khajiit, J'aime Snow (snow leopard). Now if only I could get him a snow leopard mount, all would be perfect.

Hmm. When it's a "farming" day, I fluctuate between 2 and 3. Generally though, it's 8 or 9 even.
PC/NA
- Redguard StamBlade dps ["bowtard" crafty girl who likes spinning with daggers too.]
- Breton SorcMag dps [She's got an identity crisis, but I believe in her.]
- Dunmer Templar dps/healer [she's a healer, then again she likes inferno staff too...]
And..
- High Elf SorcMag dps [It's quite possible his daddy was a Nord.]
I remain every bit as enthusiastic about the game as I was when it launched, but part of the reason for that is that I make a point of not burning out on games so don't play one game exclusively all the time. Being retired I find the old cliche to be true and I simply don't have the same amount of free time that I had when I was working!
Right now, it is an "8" due to Clockwork City, Morrowind, and motif grinding. Over the last four years, it has gone as low as "1", but is normally between "4" and "9", not inclusive.
As we are on the eve of a new update, I expect my interest to drop rapidly before it rolls out. Usually, that happens because I want to adventure in the new area, but in this case, a lot of the characters I play are below Level 50 and I don't want any of them to level up before Dragon Bones comes out. I play them to the upper limit of their current level, then park them.
Depends on my mood. I could be itching to get in and play in the morning on the way to work; but by the time I get free time at the end of the day after work, gym, taking dogs for a walk, running somewhere for kid, dinner, or whatever happened that particular day; I may just want to watch some tv, drink a beer, and go to bed.
Used to be a 10...until I started playing in dungeons and had to deal with stupid, hyper-serious, bitchy attitudes. Totally burned the fun out of playing.
I have a 10 month old daughter and so the time I get to actually play is limited to when she's in bed. I've got metric tonnes of stuff still to do as a consequence (all the DLC etc) so I am enjoying it immensely to wind down after a day of being mummy!
Thank you for all this feedback so far, both good and bad Hopefully ZOS is paying attention to this thread.
The intention of this thread is for ZOS to see data of how much people really want to get onto the game. Some may say with that "well ZOS can just look at who's logging in". This thread is targeting the keyword "enthused" (if you dont know what that means google :P). Its not to validate anything of my own feelings, etc. For anyone who knows me they know I have been all about this game since beta 2013 and I also dropped this game like a hot rock when the game rebranded to Tamriel Unlimited. ZOS was making some really stupid decisions back then but since about winter of 2016 the team has really got their head on straight and got the game going in the right direction, thats why I'm back in the game and playing. I must say I am really enjoying it and glad to see the devs implementing numerous features that was brought to the forefront at the guild summit back in 2014.
Again thank you guys for at least casting your vote and the more data the better and by all means constructive criticism that has been given thus far keep it coming as well as the pats on the back of what ZOS is doing well that you love!
like some others - I generally like ESO *when I'm playing it* - however, the question was "how enthused are you to log in", and truth be told, I consider logging in and a giant wall of issues rise up that kill some of my enthusiasm.
Now that I've got a solid dps build on my NB, combat has become close to trivial in most instances - there are still a few pve locations where I actually have to *work*, but most things die in about 3 key presses, and I find that kills *some* of my enthusiasm.
I still enjoy quests and exploring, which is a draw
I often have to set aside at least 30min to an hour of bag clearing and swapping between alts for crafting, research, and item decon - which I don't generally find fun
I still enjoy doing group dungeons and trials with my guildies, which is another draw
so yah - I bounce around at about what I would gauge as 50% enthusiasm. If I'm tired or angry at all of my other games, I'll play ESO - if there's something enticing I'd like to do somewhere else, I'll do something else
I WILL admit that the large-scale cosmetic upgrade that should be coming with the new update is a BIG draw for me

2, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I dislike games that are so complex you need to login for 6 hours a day to stay competitive. ESO is around when I want it to be and not when I don't which keeps me coming back year after year. WoW will have me skip entire expansions because I just can't do dailies for the rest of my life.
i play madden, cod, fallout 4 sometimes because im bored.

I've been playing Black Desert Online this month.I'm just taking a soft break from ESO at the moment. But believe me, I'll be back playing ESO regularly when the AOE caps gets removed. PvP is going to be alot more interesting than "stack all the bodies the avoid damage" that it is now.
