Tuneable auras would you want?

Example of said ones are how you see people have green and red and blue orbs around them correct? (lazy to put the sets in)
What I am offering is a suggestion to what is like the outfitter part we are getting is a sort of aura where we can change it around of how it looks, get some snakes that slither around you or make them spark or the like. Maybe have some kind of floating shards hover around you. Have it so that you can tailor it a certain way to your liking. Maybe even give yourself a sort of phantom armor that is transparent over your own armor so it gives it a sort of over armor look.

Other examples is to make butterflies and moths and the like seem to come out from you and float around. Maybe have leaves whist around you. Maybe make flowers grow from you. Possibly capes or having some kind of floating cloth like materials float around you and snake around you. Just throwing ideas out there.

Other MMOs do it - albeit with much smaller character models (Diablo-style, essentially).

The question is - how much in terms of resources would it require to put in an aura. And, secondly, how much in terms of resources would it require to display, say, 12 different auras for members of a large group. In combat, no less. It isn't getting done if it cannot be done cheaply is my point.

tbh there are sets that already put an aura on the character when you have a complete set on.

If there was a way to turn off the display so I didn't have to see people running around with it.

All for it. They should auto unsummon in cities just like pets should auto unsummon in cities. There's enough visual clutter there already.

Sounds like a great way to make the latency in Cyrodiil and crowded towns worse.

    No

Why? If I can turn it off and not see it I really don't care what people have while running around. Heck, I'd like to turn off those red/green/blue orbs too but can't.

that would be cool but i would make them super hard to get. Something like getting a 600k score for vma or do a set of hardcore challenges within a day. You thought vmol skins are hard to get? thats cute.

Make them hard like having to have to do monster trophy achievements hard?
