Well here's a bad example for you since it's not indicative of how trial bosses react to off balance... But for pve, I pulled 41k dps on a 6 mil dummy the first round of pts with zaan, and 40k dps live with skoria, now I had to start using heavy attacks to sustain and I am only able to manage 36-37k dps no matter what I change, on a 6 mil dummy.

It can proc once every 3 seconds as long as you have off balance up. For whatever reason target dummies don't act like bosses, so they don't get the special off balance treatment of the cooldown, so you will likely see less lash procs against a boss and you'll have to use more heavy attacks.

This makes skeleton parses obsolete for accurate results now. What good are dps numbers from a skeleton parse if it won't accurately show damage against a boss?
I'm sure it's so ingrained into the mind set of players to still ask for one, but it doesn't make sense anymore. Will guilds still ask for one? Probably. But it means nothing if the numbers are skewed because the skeleton doesn't have the off balance cool down a boss has.
Unless something changes, guilds are asking for trash pull dps, not boss dps. It's inaccurate and useless.
What's sad will be seeing guilds ask for this and wonder why numbers are so off.
The skeleton just became a tool for practicing rotation and less about dps parse.

Good luck getting the community to understand that, though..

I wouldnt say obsolete at all. I mean dummies have always given different numbers thsn actual boss fights.

The dummy will still allow people to work out thier best rotation and practice it for max dps. Still means the numbers will be different on a boss.

I agree its rediculous for them to not adjust dummy properties to match that of bosses tho. And the new offbalance changes and cooldowns are really annoying me. I just want my main to be desired for trials again. Not play some other class i dont enjoy due to my main class being *** over.
