Saying Goodbye to ESO for a while

https://youtu.be/Dal2I-iNBhU this is my good bye video to ESO. I’ve put so much work in to this game and it all cameto disrespect from the people I’ve been playing with. I’ve wasted so much money and time to enjoy myself. As time went on the community for players like myself decreased.
There’s nothing else for me to do in ESO. I don’t know if anyone else feels the same way. I’m really going to miss everything about this game. But perhaps I’ll have more time with my family. ESO if you guys read this, please forgive me. I can’t take the community. I just spent money on a race change today and it got wasted. I deleted me game but not my account. Hopefully I’ll be back. Thanks everyone.

Don't think your gonna get much sympathy here. I've seen people make these threads before and just get made fun of.

You love the game bit your friends make you want to leave ? Those are not friends . Join a positive guild . Be positive yourself . You will see once you are having fun others that are like minded will follow . You cant change others but you can change yourself . Play solo awhile . Help new players and adventure with new people . If something ingame makes you cranky atop doing it right away and run somewhere else . Games are entertainment not jobs . Relax and stop worrying what others think and do what makes you happy . Good luck .

That sucks dude. PS4 needs guys like you who are chill and not ego driven. Community is toxic though, but that's mmos. Eso's biggest probably is the player base to too damn small. So the people on top of the pve or pvp community think they're gods. When in reality, they're bascially competing against themselves lol

End game pve for instance is very shallow. Not hard to be #1 when nobody is chasing you haha don't tell them that though..

    Best wishes brother. Take care

Best of luck with whatever you do in the future.

From someone who took a six month break from the game some time ago, I will say stepping back and taking a breath really helps you realise what's great about the game and what you miss.

My advice to anyone burning out of ESO is to take a short break if needed, but try to focus on what's good about ESO as it is and why you like it. If you're always fighting to change the game into something it's not then you'll have a lot less fun playing what it is.

I love how PlayStation cuts him off at the end. Comedy gold.

However, people in the thread seem to think he got tired of the game itself. From the video all I could hear was a guy who got "disrespected by others (apparently also younger than him)" and that somehow drained his entire confidence and will to play. I'd assume he'd still be playing if that wasn't the case, so there's no need for comments such as "you're just tired of the game, take a break". I think this is a different issue and OP is just seeking attention and confirmation.

Why do people think there goodbye post will not get closed out?? Like kids need to learn to put the game down and go outside and look at the sun more often or go on dates or something

This right here is what people need to do I mean if you are no life living in this game ya you will end up killing your self over it just stop and go outside do something other than play a game and for the love of RNJESUS please stop making goodbye post...

Yeah, there can be so many negative people who spreads their negativity as much as they can and it's not only in this game or website. If you find another game with a forum that you can hang out to, don't be surprised if you see the same negativity that those members spew in the forums. It's not only ESO. When you find someone who is not at least negative, hand around with that player. Don't let yourself get suck in with people who seems to be always angry or just post in the forums when they have something to complain about.

Attention and confirmation aka Respect is earned. Not given.

Congeniality, manners and grace however, should be handed out often and freely.

Chin up buttercup, don't let how people act in a game define you or make your choices for you. Can't do awesome things surrounded by basic people. <3

I recently left a guild that I used to love and to be honest i was gutted, but it just wasn't going the way it used to and what i loved just wasn't there anymore. There are many other guilds and I've joined a new one and am enjoying eso life again. Have a break and come back when your ready :)

People will consistently live under the presumption that the world revolves around them, and they will act accordingly. This thread is unnecessary, telling, and mildly disappointing.

Have some self-respect, stop looking for peoples' acknowledgement.

Same as those like your self. Where nobody really cares about your opinion. Critizing people on a game forum is really going places in life! Well done!

OP, you do what you gotta do! Hope you come back and find new people to play with. I took an enormous year and a half break from ESO and it was quite refreshing! Came back to many things to do and see! Good luck!

wasted so much money to enjoy myself...kind of a weird statement...everyone needs to judge himself how much entertainment is worth how much in the indivudual moment so you cant really afterwards say it was wasted...you pay in the moment for enjoyment in the moment. eso is now investment.

It eludes me why people even care to create such threads. If I want to take a break, and stop playing ESO, I just do it. Move on and create a thread each time you logging off.
