My last bg game, crazy king, the winning team (reds) all had kda-s of 0-6 and 0-18! etc. Both the other teams had plenty of kills on one another.
Reds were running 2 templars and 2 dks guarding each other sitting on flags doing nothing but holding block+healing.
Couldnt make it up if i tried. And sadly this is every other gamemode thats not deathmatch.
Cant wait for no cp bg, even if the whole proc meta comes back. Rather deal with stamblades 2 shotting from sneak then this bs.

Sometimes I wonder that we've been playing the same game. BG is great even with CP, I'm on PC EU though. I'm playing as a PUG, I like to play as a PUG, because of its gambling nature. Occasionally there is obvious when one of the opposite team is a premade, and they win by a huge margin. But on evenings there is a high chance of 100% PUG or PUG level battlefield.

But. Does it really matter? Does winning or loosing have to matter? We can play PVP with instant action, without the lag, and we have the opportunity to play against or play with great players or great exploiters. We have a chance to git gud. If there is a premade around, the objective is turns to simply to stay alive, and try to kill the ***.

There is one thing that can *** me off in a BG match: when a PUG player is crying in group chat about the others. Find a group and stay away from PUG queues if you can't take it. Fortunately we have an ignore feature.

Its not about winning, its about the ppl who come to this pvp game mode with very little intention if actually fighting back. I get that its an objective based game mode, but ignoring/outtanking players isnt pvp in my book.
I could come in with a 30k hp argonian warden and never die and just sit on objectives all game, but that's not pvp, I'm not fighting anyone.
Its the same reason u cant understand why ppl morning/nightcap empty servers, if i wanted to fight Npcs id go do a dungeon or a trial.
I mostly solo que as well, and put v put fights are great when the opposition fights back.
Tbh this passive, never die attitude has been getting worse and worse lately, so many ppl just sit there in block and heal and never fight back even in Cyrodiil.
There was a time, when if you only played defensive you would run out of resources far quicker than someone playing offensive.
It was one of the core elements of PvP, and it was made that way so this kinda passive playstyle wouldnt be viable.

Also there is no such thing as pug queues. Playing without a team just means its more likely to be put in a lobby aganist a premade grp.
Me and my friends actually tested it with multiple grp going for it the same time, and we got into different lobbies nearly every single time.

No-CP will fix alot of this when its back, finally.

Sure the pre-made v PUG group convo continues, but honestly thats not as big an issue as people make out. If I get on with a few experienced BG players we feel / act like a premade. I'm sure other teams think we are but its just dudes knowing the tactics, their build. What wins matches and rolling together.

Sure some premades kick ass, as you see the same names. But they are all beatable, even if you form your own thru talking to players you PUG with successfully.

Understand people’s frustration about tanks and even healers in bgs, the game in general. Although at the same time there must be a place for these tanks too, that's what some people love to do while others want to play damage dealers and that's fine too. At the same time whatever you like to play shouldn't make you bias towards the other playstyles.

It's still pvp, those player's just choose to be annoying. Pvp doesn't necessarily equate to killing another person.
