Why I'm not buying the Soul Gem, Parchment, Clippers emotes

It would be pretty cool if ZOS implemented a system where players could challenge each other to a game of Soul Gem, Parchment, Clippers (similar to how invite to dueling/grouping works).
Each player could choose one of the 3, and then both players' choices are revealed at the same time. Even with voice comms, I'm sure it's not that easy to emote simulataneously, what with the lag and reaction time. Same goes for doing a count down in chat and then frantically typing or pasting your choice in chat and pressing enter. There will surely be some delays.
They are pretty cool emotes and all, but rendered kinda useless (to me at least) unless a system like this were to be introduced into the game.
Or maybe it does work like that, I don't know, I haven't tested since I didn't buy them.

1. No easy way to coordinate actions.
2. Not everyone will have them. What is the point if someone has to run to the Crown Store just to play Rock Paper Scissors? Find another way.

I do praise ZOS for both of those things. I'm very happy with ZOS as the developers of this game. Just voicing my reasons for not buying these emotes

✭✭✭Nerf parchment! As soul gem I have no way to counter this op build and it’s not fair. This game is just way too unbalanced.
Can we take away its ability to cover me? And buff my ability at the same time to rip it as I use crush?
I think clippers are balanced and just fine1 -

Meh. Obviously it would be ideal if nothing was monetized but a little gimick like this, I don't have a problem supporting my favourite devs with a little extra money. Each to their own0 -
Orticia✭✭✭✭the emote-set should really just have an option to pick one of 3 at random for you and show that. That way both players with the emotes can compare the results and see who has won, like rolling dice. So it would work even if not both emotes show at the same time.2

✭✭✭It's fine in a way, player makes the choice rather than rng, and as long as you click or enter the emote before the other person's animation finishes, the choice is locked in even with a small delay.
That said, at 800 crowns fewer people are going to pick this up. Certainly not anyone in my guild who ever felt this emote was worth mentioning. Alternatively, you can just agree to use three existing emotes and play the same game for free.2 -
