Xbox X comparison

May someone who has and Xbox x or even a PS4 pro tell me their experiences compared to playing on the Xbox one and PS4 standard version?

I’d like to get an insight on

•loading distances (currently on Xbox one bushes load up to like 10 feet away it’s awful)
•overall graphics
•performance/lag
•bugs/glitches

I’m not considering buying an Xbox x and a new TV just for ESO alone but it is my most played game.
Do I need a 4K TV?

Thank you

I have an Xbox one X and a 4k tv.

The differences in the two are noticeable, though things like textures still look the same (ugly).

The biggest diffrences other than the resolution:
    - Draw distance is much further and on par with PC
    - Reflections on the water add a nice touch to the realism
    - Overall crisper look between the two

Now as far as performance, that was the biggest bump. Places like Vivec city use to lag me out and also had a terrible time loading textures. I no longer have this issue . Also some of the hiccups that use to have no longer occur, the game runs smooth as heck.

Bugs/glitches... this is ESO bugs and glitches occur on any platform.

xbox one/S vs Xbox One X

Yes you need a 4k TV with HDR, id recommend 240 hertz....if not you will not see a big difference.

•loading distances - draw distance was improved a lot and using the internal HD or an external SSD drastically improves load times by 50% or greater
•overall graphics - Prettu much everything is ultra, give or take per ZOS. I have this on PC and this is a lot better than my ASUS G75 laptop, however I can tweak things that are set in stone on xbox.
•performance/lag - feels about the same just looks waaay better
    •bugs/glitches - exactly the same

i have both ps4pro and xbox one x versions

performance wise, its about the same. You get hiccups in town but thats a cpu thing usually and xbox one x has a bit better cpu.

graphic wise, xbox one x is better. it basically has the same enhancements that the ps4pro has in the 1080p mode but in 4k.

better water, better filtering and shading. I find the 4k on xbox one x to be a bit clearer than ps4pro for some reason but that might be just me.

where you get a difference is they rip off xbox users with prices of things. The mods refused to answer the question why.

it seems they shy away from anything they know they are in the wrong on like this aspect and why they don't test things. very cowardly but it is what it is.

I heard in NA the xbox population is better, in europe the playstation population is better.

I have an Xbox X and an ssd that plugs in via the USB port. My performance is awesome. I rarely have an infinite load screen and the loading times are reduced to short waits. Highly recommended.

You buy an xbox one x
    Buy an SSD external
    connect them
    ?????
    Profit!

If you want graphic increases get a Xbox One X.

If you want performance increases put ESO on an SSD.

If you want both you need both. The standard issue internal hard drive on the One X won't do anything for your load times that's what the SSD is for.

I have the x and an ssd attached almost everything has improved you can still get the ocasional cyrodiil crashes but it barely happens ive gone days without crashing where as with the first xbox one i was guaranteed to crash in vivec every night. One thing for sure though with the first xbox sometimes i would have that thing were you would see past keep walls when you are about to crash. With the X not once ive seen an invisible keep wall

I'm not sure how you can say performance is fine. For me, it's terrible in cities.

I went from the original xb1 to the xbx and I have noticed a pretty big improvement on performance with the exception of lag in sanctum ophidia. PvP still lags but it’s much better for me. Load times have sped up a helluva lot. I don’t have a 4K tv so graphics are pretty much the same.

I have the Xbox X. I don't have a 4K TV though. There is a difference. But not much of a difference. Draw difference is way better on the X. It does seem a bit faster but don't really notice it. When I have the funds will buy an external SSD hard drive. The game does seem to run smoother but still has the hic cups.

I wouldn't recommend getting the Xbox One X just for ESO especially if you don't have a 4K TV, but if looking for a new console and don't want to get a PC then I would suggest the Xbox One X.

If you are looking for better graphics and don't have a 4K TV, then the PC is the way to go I think. Then again I haven't seen any screen shots of the difference between LED and 4K TV with ESO screen shots so not sure if the picture is any better than regular TV.

If you will play on EU server by PS4 PRO(Healty Population) and also (second hand for 300$ + 200$ for 1 TB SSD = 500$ total)
    Benefits of the PS4 are
    - Cheaper Crowns when they are on sale,
    - ALMOST NEVER PROBLEMS WITH THE PLAYSTATION SERVICES ( every week I see notifications about Xbox liveservers being down or having problems)
    - Better population on the EU server

Buy XboxoneX if you gonna play on the NA server (500$ + 200 SSD = 700$)
    - combined improvements of the PS4 pro enchanced + 4k
    - in theory it should be slightly better in matter of performance cuz of the CPU

Do not play the game without SSD

    @Kaladinar

    What TV are you using?

Where are your game files (internal Xbox one x hd or external hd)?

What external HD specifics needed if you’re using an external?

What connection do you have wired or wireless?
What’s your Xbox retail network stats (not what your ISP provides, what does your Xbox actually get)?

Are you using any port forwarding or uPnP?

Someone told you wrong, PS4 NA population is very well and lot of players everywhere to see.

    PVP also feels very alive!

I play on PC NA and PS4 NA, i found ps4 NA more active.

ESO almost never lag for me in PS4 Pro, trials and dungeons runs fine with good FPS.

Cyrodiil hardly lag (infinite loading screen issues still sometime hit) and view distance is good too!
