Outlaw Motif Drop rates.

They seem FAR lower in Bahara's Gloom than in Shark Teeth Grotto.

Took around 2 hours to get all 5 Motif Pieces form Shark Teeth Grotto, plus 2 duplicates. 7 in total.

Been farming Bahara's Gloom for 4 hours now and only got 3 Motif pieces.

So...you DO realize that there is a 10 cooldown on loot from bosses, and you are much better off farming world bosses with a group, right?

When you say '10 cooldown' do you mean 10 minutes? Because I've killed a boss twice in a row and got a Motif Drop both times in Shark Teeth Grotto.

yes, loot is on a 10 min timer, and boss is on a 5 min timer. It will glitch from time to time though.

Oh yes, I know that (I didn't measure it in time, but only in boss spawns). Usually every time you kill the boss each 2nd time it will only provide gold (It bugged once for me). This makes no difference to my point, Over hours of farming each I got more that 100% more Motif drops in Shark Teeth grotto than in Bahara's Gloom. Farming each one straight for a long time.

Sorry for the typo: yes 10 minutes. But you are missing my point. World bosses have the same timers for respawn and loot on them as delve bosses. They are easier to get to than the delve bosses due to better placed way shrines, no mobs to fight through, etc. So you get a small group of people to go back and forth between each boss. So inside of 10 minutes you: kill WB 1 and receive chance at motif drop, and kill WB2, also receiving chance of motif drop. Then rinse and repeat.

This method has double the efficiency of sitting in a delve farming the boss. It is also way more fun since you don't have to sit there desperately trying to get one hit in with 20 other guys trying to stab a stupid maomer at the same time.

I farmed in both locations also getting my full set. I was in BC untill i seemed to be getting a lot of duplicates, then i went to STG and did well there, finishing up my set. I didnt notice a slow down in drop rate in BC anymore than would happen in STG. In fact i went to STG this weekend to farm a few of the motifs for a freind and went 30-40 mins with no motif drop at all. That never happened in BC. SO it may just be bad luck with the RNG.

Can you tell me then,is there an actual motif bit for the chest armor? Ive seen the leggings,but no shoulder or chest bits yet.

Oh, thanks for that. The only reason I wan't doing world Bosses is beacuase I read somewhere that each drops only certain parts of the Motif which has seemed true so far. 5 from Bahara's Gloom, 5 from Shark Teeth Grotto and 4 from either world boss.Is this not true?

The thing I read may be why you are not finding the chest if you are only farming 1 of the 2 delves.

@keybaud. Hmm. I don't know. I don't think so, as I am pretty sure I received the same motif from a WB and the boss in BG at some point but I could be mistaken. I DO seem to get a disproportionate number od gloves, axes, belts, maces, and daggers....but those are all the motifs with the highest drop rate too.

Yes there is. I have a full set on my crafter. Some seem to duplicate often, others seem more rare. It took me a while to get helms and shoulders. I had dupes of legs and chests (I think).

Does it make a difference if you are in a group? I am farming in a group and got one motif within the last hour. There is a player farming with us, but not in a group and she is getting a motif like every 10 minutes.

I grinded my back part in Hew's Bane to get the motifs, took me 3 days to get them all by killing over and over the boss in the delves then i had to wait until they fixed shark theet grotto and did the same for 4 hours until i got each one of them, so less complaining and more killing.

My friend who just started playing eso (doesn't now how to play) opened a crown crates and got a outlaw Motifs what does it use for the style?
