I did a lot of randoms yesterday. The DLC dungeons are the worst. Still so many can’t do WGT. The planar inhibitor is such a stumbling block for group.
I don’t particularly care for Fungal or Wayrest or CoA, but can solo them fairly easily and quick by myself, so I guess that makes em kind of a favorite.
Scenery wise, Vaults of Madness is about the pinnacle of ESO artwork imo. I also really like Cradle of Shadows.
Favorite Dungeon: Cradle of Shadows. Bar none, this is the best designed dungeon in the game. High DPS is not required to successfully complete this dungeon, even on HM, a knowledge of mechanics is. RNG has nothing to do with this dungeon, its all about skill.
Least Favorite Dungeon: Elden Hollow 1. This dungeon has literally nothing going for it. It has the most annoying entrance in the history of dungeons with rocks in the waterfalls you are constantly getting hung up on. Its way too easy, no challenge at all, and it doesn't even have any good loot. To make matters worse its full of annoying fear spamming NPCs. Worst. Dungeon. Ever.
Honorable Mention: Only slightly less hated than Elden Hollow 1 is City of Ash 1, but this is because of endless hours grinding BSW gear and still never finding a fire staff.
Favorite - Black Heart Haven, I enjoy the pirates and the landscape.
Least Favorite - Maybe Darkshade Cavern, it's just boring fighting and I hate the Engine Guardian just such a ball-ache when you keep wiping from people who can't do the mechanics.
I also dislike Direfrost Keep since they final boss has that heal beam and if people dont break free it turns into a 20+ minute fight.
"Play how you want... unless its not how we intended you to play in which case we'll nerf it".

if you do it once or for farming? because those answers will be different...for farming - the shorter the better... But i do think that the vault of madness is very atmospheric and so is cradle of shadows...least favored i dunno....maybe ruins of m. and city of ash 2
I've done most of them so much they bore me to death. I'll have to do a complete 12 day pledge rotation of all of them on my new Warden starting this Friday, to get the skill points, Undaunted ranks and stash a few keys for the coming sets. The Horns of the Reach are the ones I've done the least, so I would list them like my favorites. I will probably fall into temptation again and farm those to death for the motifs, like I did for Shadows of the Hist ones, since those are the only motifs I haven't completed yet. So they'll probably end up in the same bore pile, along the others. I'm also really excited about, Dragon Bones, and I'll go right in when they hit live in a few weeks.

Favorite: Cradle of Shadows, I love the mechanics and the dungeon is loads of fun. Plus Velidreth has awesome dialogue.
Least: City of Ash II, too long and too unforgiving to a bad pug group. Unless I’m running it with knowledgeable players, any PUG group usually stalls out at the Ash Titan. I do enjoy the boss fights though when in a good group but it is just wayyyyyyyy tooooooo lonnnngggg.
Least: Every dungeon where the boss' stun affects you before their attack visually connects. So annoying.
Favourite: must be Darkshade Caverns, since I've run it 100 times for a set I still haven't completed
honestly i like all of them, i do like all the DLC dungeons but i have only run all of them after IC ones once or twice since they are NOT fun without a good group. but i cant think of one i really dislike. you can carry the group through most just not the DLC, so they are my least ran ones but its not that i dislike them i just refuse to spend over an hour in one.
LIKE: RoM (great mechanics) & VoM (fantastic scenary)
DISLIKE: CoAII (too long and tedious) & EHII (hate the part where portals spawn in the tunnel and then you arrive to an open area packed with mobs, mostly range mages)
In general I like most dungeons. My main issue with them is that most enemies have so little hp compared to our current dps that you hardly see any mechanics.
My favourite dungeon probably is tempest or (FH if no bug happens) as I generally like fights, where you profit from good positioning and movement.
My least favourite dungeon is Spindle 1. It mostly feels like a public delve where someone already killed half of the enemies. The only fun part about it is dodging the projectiles at the last boss.
Favorite: Cradle of Shadows
The bosses are quite fun and interesting, the environment transitions are unique and can be beautiful.
Loath: City of Ash
Long and repetitive, killing mobs can be so bland.
I agree with the people who really like VoM's art.
I find the maddening noises in Spindleclutch 1 to be ... maddening. The fights are boring too.
I'm tired of what Rilis has to say. Very tired. But it turns out one can do BC 1 or 2 without paying much attention to him, so that's OK.
The messed-up Volenfell map is annoying. But otherwise I like the dungeon, so overall it's in the middle for me.
I don't like Selene's Web. The story is repulsive. The running around is tedious. And it's a dungeon where the lack of a good tan can actually be a problem.
I don't like the confusing and monochromatic art of CoA 1.
Favourite: it's a tie between VoM and WGT. With VoM, you get those fun cannonball moments (I always make sure I'm the first to jump down, so I can watch everyone else jumping into the water). I also love the visuals on the Mad Architect when he shatters everything outside the safe zone in slow-mo. I think my jaw actually dropped the first time I saw it. I love WGT too, but ONLY when I'm tanking or healing, and ONLY when the DPS listen to what I'm saying. I actually enjoy teaching people the mechanics for that dungeon. It's one of the few dungeons in this game that DOESN'T make me lose my cool when I'm grouped up with people who are doing it for the first time. It's also very gratifying to help people complete their first WGT clear.
Least-Favourite: Arx Corinium, because people ALWAYS stand in the Fanged Menace's freaking AOE poison and wonder "durrhh, why's its heath increasing?" They often then continue to stand in the poison until I threaten to drop group. Also, CoH II (when grouped with PUGs), because Mezeluth usually results in a minimum of 15 deaths, guaranteed. Before that point, you also often have to deal with people who have no idea what a synergy is, and why it's important to break the healer (who is usually me) out of their cocoon.
I love Vault of Madness. The scenery and atmosphere is dope.
I hate Banished Cells II. Simply because of the Daedroths on the last boss knocking you down, again, and again, and again.
Favorite: Imperial City Prison
Least Favorite: Ruins of Mazzatun (especially when you're with someone that doesn't know the prison puzzle and just kills all the prisoners...)
