Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

Do you feel that DLC areas and content are a 1 month experience?

Is it a month's worth? Probably, depends how much you play :)

When I get into a story line I tend to concentrate on finishing it, so maybe only a week of story, but plenty of time exploring (a habit I have from other ES games is that I tend to pick up loads of quests before starting on actually doing them).

Do the zones have replay value? Depends on the zone.

I go back to Orsinium more than Vvardenfell. In fact I probably go to IC and Gold Coast more than Vvardenfell.

I finished all the quests in DB and TG on one character but I go back there for the dailies and the loot.
Also go back to loot around the cities.

Really the same can be said of any zone if you don't like repetition. Once done you won't go back.
I don't see this as a DLC issue only but it doesn't bother me.

I have only Orsinium and IC, since I just came back to play after 2 years break. I though Orsinium would be long dead by now, but people are still there. I think they did great thing with battleleveling in all zones. With that, ppl can go adventuring anywhere + they can add new content to the old zones as well in future DLCs.

You may be right to a degree, I dont know. But I do know the situation with "dead zones" was much worse 2 years ago.

@Anotherone773 its called dedication and enjoyment, I don't enjoy having alts and eso was the game that finally provided me with the option to have a 1 char that can do all so I don't have to get variants, also there is no dolmens in dlc areas as far as I know? also I am playing since 1st beta and never dropped sub once :D so im ok with grinding but as someone else said...repeatable quests aren't actually something u can call "content"

Hence why i said generally speaking, not all zones have all types of content available. I wont get into the one character thing, you seem stuck on having only character, but imo you are missing out on a lot that a mmo has to offer by being "dedicated" to one character.

My point was that their is content available in all the zones even after "completion" it just depends on what you call content. That said, its a common problem in most MMOs that an area loses most of its usefulness after the main content is completed. The only way to really fix that is to have dynamic content. ESO is designed perfectly for dynamic content since it already has a "level anywhere" system.

There is a MMO called Rift that has some of this dynamic content ability, with "rifts" popping up in zones that you have to defeat. Unfortunately it falls on its face because the rewards are pretty close to useless and the rifts are tailored to the zone level. If you took that concept put it with ESO leveling system, and added decent unique rewards( like Sigil Stones) then you would have something to make every zone more useful despite completing it.

This is why I like falling behind with ESO. Play for a few months, stop for a few months.

Each time I come back, I'm more than likely behind on a good amount of content that I haven't done or tried.

Its why i dont get in a hurry to level. You end up skipping a lot of content to get to the end for what? So you can say how boring it is? And if you take your time, by time you get around to making a new character to play all that content you did first and you really never mess with is old and like watching a rerun you havent seen in a year so it doesnt feel as boring.

I dont know why you would blow through everything anyway, i make a fortune off " stopping to smell the roses". I got a purple and two blue recipes yesterday after a dungeon clear because i went back and looted everything after completion. That was about 7.5k in recipes just for spending 10 minutes looting.
