Good morning/afternoon,

I just wanted to thank the Devs and research / info gathering teams for really listening to the community about what we would like in the game. Also thank you for putting up with all the complaining. This game is amazing despite what some have said but of course things need work, always will.

On my way to Arkansas to do some hiking I am thinking about a wish I have for the Devs. When I first started I thought, oh, there are 3 types of templars, Melee, healing, and divine undead blasting fire dps.

As I played through I realized I'd take skills from each obviously.

I know it takes a LOT of work getting everything balanced but Is as sort of bummed everyone got everything. And at this point I have like 250+ skill points which leaves me with little restrictions.

I think it'd be an improvement if we all made some sort of permanent choice to specialize in one specific niche. From there maybe different morphs depending on the niche we selected.

    Nah, I'd rather not have cookie-cutter restrictions that prevent experimentation and build theorycrafting.

    You can have a lot of skills unlocked, sure, but you can't use them all at the same time. The freedom to test different setups and experiment without committing to a specific role is one of the things that sets ESO apart.

    Similar is better than everyone being exactly the same due to pre-defined roles, like WoW.

    No thanks. There's plenty of games out there that force you into a role for a certain class.
    I'll take eso's freedom.
    What you're asking for is actually less customization, not more. The freedom to mix skills not based on a class role IS more customization then some other games out there allow for.
    While yes, you can unlock almost everything, you absolutely CANNOT use all of it. That is still a limitation keeping everyone from being the same.

    Permanent choice? Nah, people already argue about class changing. Don't feel like this will have a warm welcome.

    I'm saying maybe make a choice with 2 more morph options but leaving out the other 4. Kind of making 6 possible morphs / skills

    So everyone is aware that in most content that matters everyone is basically the same right? I mean if your a dps you use the same staff skills if you are stamina based you use the same duel wield sword skills...they just made bow specs usable for some classes..but that will be the same bow skills etc etc. So yes it is ironic that in a game that lets you unlock everything only a few skills are really usable in content that matters.

    Personally I still would rather see the whole class system expanded with such a "permanent choice" to specialize further into an sub-class by adding a fourth skill line... but I would say that, would I not? https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/369966/class-morph-idea-mk-ii ;)
