Hey, guys, maybe it's time to lower the price a bit? Rouble is doing a bit better than it did in 2015, but the price didn't change.

I would be glad if ESO+ cost 500Rub, although 750Rub would be good enough. :)

Are you seriously telling us that it costs about 110 euros for one month?

Nah, only 15.5 euros. It's 979, not 6979. But they still get 2 euros extra from each payment in roubles :/

It's only 979, the character that looks like a 6 is a Russian character.

Nope. It costs 15.44 Euros or 13.39 GBP. But it still a little bit more expensive than in Europe.
And don't forget about translation. There's no Russian translation in the game. :(

Most gaming devs/publishers/manufacturers are incapable of applying conversion rates. Or more to the point, unwilling to do so. The same holds true with TV and other electrical appliance manufacturers. It's usually Canada, Australia and the UK that get the short end of the stick when it comes to this practice. They all sing from the same hymn sheet when citing their reasons; taxes, shipping costs etc etc. All the God awful garbage that they spout has more or less been debunked at some point or another.

I mean, take gaming and digital games as an example, there is no shipping costs, just taxes and vat here in the UK. Even applying that vat and those taxes, the same product is almost always cheaper by a considerable amount in the US. Half these large corps don't even pay tax in the UK or under pay it by millions each year. That's the best part.

Well, SWTOR even gave russians a discount when the whole economy crash happened, so not every dev/publisher is a jerk.
I'm not asking for discounts, but not overcharging us would be nice.

Would be great to get at least some answer from devs =/

We know that Russia is not officially supported country for ESO, but it is a big market still and ignoring the players' concerns is kind of unwise and rude.

Afaik the local price decrease is only possible when ZOS had a local publisher which could then take care of it's business, pushing on US for price decrease. Untill then they will never decrease price or answer you positively, no matter the good reasons you give. They are not EA...

I know your comment was tongue in cheek (or at least I'm giving you the benefit of doubt), but it kinda reminds me of a letter I received from a pen friend in America when I was a kid. I stay in Scotland and she was amazed that we had chewing gum and sweets in general. I can only assume some people across the Atlantic still think most of us are still residing in the medieval times.

Toss Putin out and I will be happy to call my buddy in Zenimax to lower your subscription price.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

No please no. I understand where you're coming from OP -but for example, here in Canada our dollar is now weaker than a few years ago.

I have already seen a game make this change once and now I'm paying 33% more for things.. I get that's the 'proper' thing, but it is not cool when you're on the negative end of the stick. What was once 59.99 is now 89.99 (citing DE's Warframe prices, which they even said they changed based on the value of CAD) :| Canada is already getting bum wrap in most games - I'm genuinely happy ESO never adjusted its prices because crown packs would go from 40 to like 50-60

Even worse is once upon a time our dollar was better, and they never made special exceptions to lower prices when our dollar was better than the USD either. From what I have seen developers will only do it if they can increase the number. Which is just them evening out profits, but from the consumer end it is poop.

    Just leave the prices static.

But I bet you have a fur hat. I just bet! :)

I don't even understand why they need a local publisher or any of that stuff. Its all digital. There's too much laziness from companies. Its digital. I can't wrap my head why its such a problem for them or any company (not the first I've heard) and its all still treating things like they're physical. You practically make a single thing then sell it multiple times but currency is beyond comprehension. Its not an actual thing. Its digital. How on earth did television ever get anywhere.

Look at your government first with price difference. There are taxes that ZoS pays that you dont see in almost everything you buy
