Please ZOS allow us to keep Xivkyn faces!

Recently ZOS decided that if we choose the option to hide helmet on Xivkyn polymorphs we won't have the Xivkyn face anymore! That ruins all the beauty of those polymorphs! Please ZOS don't do that!

The whole point of a polymorph is that I become that creature. In this case, I'm a Xivkyn, not simply a large Dunmer. While I'm excited for the outfit system, I do not appreciate losing functionality on polymorphs in a way that makes the polymorphs significantly use impaired.

I heard about this yesterday on eso live and thought to myself man this is going to suck but I didn't want to bring it up I didn't honestly think anyone was going to care I didn't want to come off as trying to make a big deal over something I didn't think people cared about it's nice to see ppl are going to care about them doing this I really hope they decide not to do this tho it's part of the reason that polymorphs are fun

We do care! Another slap to PvP players, those stones were hard earned. I know they said they will look into it but it would be nice to hear more from them on this topic.

I don't want to dismiss the concerns of goblin players, especially since ZOS "fixed" the problems of the goblin disguise in Cyrodiil by banning all disguises instead of actually fixing the problems.

However, the goblin is a "disguise" and thus works differently from a polymorph. So the goblin situation is not the same as what is now happening with the polymorphs. If you want to look at what will happen with goblins, look at the other disguises, not the polymorphs.

Oh no! Please do not! I hide helm when I have poly on in order to see schmexy Xivkyn face!!!!!

What is point of poly then when we can just make Xyvkin armour!?

PVEr here and even so, no! I ground my arse off and survived much facekicking to get those!! I agree with you!

It's damn hard to solo pve there and keep all your stones to get these!

I felt the reasoning given on ESO live was poor. They said they felt people didn't know where the hide helmet option was and that's why they incorporated it into the costume and outfit system. I really don't buy this at all. They reduced the functionality of this option for many to make it (apparently) easier to find for some! I'm sorry - natural selection needs to apply here... If you couldn't find hide helmet, you probably won't be able to work the outfit system!!
I consider myself a fairly casual player and I found 'hide helmet' easily. If ZOS is that concerned then include it as a tip on load screens or level up advisor. Anyone who STILL can't find it... well, I don't think we changing the game features to suit such group.

I feel like an addon could have added the hide helmet toggle to the collections screen without removing any of its functionality. It seems like the changed 'hide helmet' into an actual item that is an invisible hat rather than code that removes headgear.....why? It wasnt broke but they seemed to think it needed fixing.

This stings because at some point I asked on these forums for a hide helmet button on the collections menu, but I didnt want this situation. Sure it might be more convienient, but if it doesnt work, whats the point.

I had just finished leveling up my character called Xivkyn Dreadweaver to level 50 with whom I use the polymorph. Now this guy has no purpose...

The purpose was to show off the polymorph!

If they genuinely objectively believe that then... I don't even know anymore. There is so many things, so many steps forward taken... just to take such a colossal step backwards in the opposite direction.... It's like a truly special kind of stupidity.

You can "hide helmet" option for polymorph is located in setting not collectibles and outfit station.
