Will you buy the Summerset Chapter if it doesn't come with a new class/spell crafting?

If it's a new area and has quests, I'll buy it.

But regardless I am very interested in exploring Summerset and especially Artaeum, and learning more of the culture there.

After the way they ruined Wardens to shoehorn in a Morrowind theme on them I genuinely HOPE they do not use "Chapters" to introduce anymore new classes. Honestly, new classes, IF they are added at all, should be purchasable as stand alone items in the crown store, basically like the Imperial race.

Most definitely, I have been waiting to see Summerset for many many years. I also really think zos should focus on existing classes rather than introducing another new one.

I consider new class as just a bonus.
A new zone to explore is more than enough for me :)

Hopefully, Summerset Isle will be very large.
I was a bit disappointed of Morrowind's map/in-game world size, it is a bit small.
Summerset Isle is the largest of the Summerset Isles after all :)

I still consider the Warden as an OP class(especially, the stamina warden builds).
Unfortunately ZOS didn't make the necessary changes to this class despite thousands of feedback notes.
Hopefully, they will do balance it in update 17.

I feel like we're all expecting necromancer with summerset, however I've heard several players argue that it's too soon after warden to be getting a new class.
Personally, I feel like the only reason they got away with not including MW with ESO+ was the warden, cause as much as I love MW, it's pretty much Orsinium sized and not really better in terms of content.
I included spell crafting in this, cause even tho it ran into a dead end, i feel like an Altmer chapter is kind of the perfect place to implement it if they wanted to.

So will you buy the Summerset Chapter if it doesn't come with a new class/spell crafting?

I'd especially buy it for the specific area, there hasn't been any further release of Altmer related content in any ES game, location wise. Of course, I wanna see! Pre-order is a different question, I have this obscure game store that holds sales during the summer, I got to pick up Morrowind for like 20 bucks early summer.

If I can do that again with Summerset, I'll be happy as a Khajit on Moonsugar.

    Other:

If it contains only a 1 zone like MW w/o class then no, i will wait some weeks until the price dropped to 10-15€
Im not willing to pay 60€ for a DLC which contains no 4 man dungeons and max 1-2 public dungeons.

    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

I really hope there WILL BE NO NEW CLASS and instead they focus on fixing the current ones and issues...besides people should stop crying for necromancers...why? cuz that means they will have to rework sorcs daedric summoning completely and that will probably *** off more players that are currently playing than those who might come and bring money for a limited time.

I would actually far prefer to see Necro as a skill line ANY class can pick up, much like the thief and assassin skill lines we got with TG and DB. So I feel like the addition of Necros would work far better as part of a DLC focused on the creepier side of ESO.

YES. Voted no by mistake. I'll buy it exclusively if it doesn't come with a new class otherwise will wait for a price drop at least for a year .
I don't want to pay for content that I will not use but spell crafting is another story totally.
    Damn my vote lol

I don't really need a new class. Would prefer something my existing characters could benefit from. So ss long as it isn't overpriced in my opinion for what I will get out of it I will get it. If it is I will wait till the price drops like i did with Morrowind (40% reduction I believe it was).

they will never add any more skill lines that have a direct combat influence in their chapters/dlc cuz that will cross the line btw B2P and P2W since only those who buy the chapter/dlc will have access to that and to be honest just to have another skill points dump for some stuff I will never use except probably the 1st month until I get all achievements its pointless and waste of resources.

I'm more concerned with the amount and quality of new quests, areas to explore, and lore to immerse in. I don't need nor particularly want another class. If the next Chapter only ends up being roughly the size of Hew's Bane, I'll probably skip it even if it includes a dozen new classes.

A zone alone isnt worth $40. And the AD zones were torturous to quest through so adding another one isnt inspiring for me. Im also not interested in necromancy, so thst would be strike 2 for me. Im actually fairly curious what they add to entice people to buy another chapter so soon. Im rather surprised so many of you are willing to pay extra just for a zone.

Like others have said I won't buy on release but will wait for the first sale. With Morrowind, I ended up playing late nights or early mornings to avoid crowds because the zone was so busy. With this year's chapter, I don't mind waiting for the zone to get a little quieter before doing the story with the added bonus of saving some money.

This plan may change if the new chapter comes with some must have none story content or the preorder deal is just too good to pass on.

If the full package has less stuff than morrowind, but for the same price range, ehhhhhh....

I would probably buy it eventually, but not at first.

At the very least for me to immediately jump on it, a new weapon type like spears or crossbows.
