Will you buy the Summerset Chapter if it doesn't come with a new class/spell crafting?

I feel like we're all expecting necromancer with summerset, however I've heard several players argue that it's too soon after warden to be getting a new class.
Personally, I feel like the only reason they got away with not including MW with ESO+ was the warden, cause as much as I love MW, it's pretty much Orsinium sized and not really better in terms of content.
I included spell crafting in this, cause even tho it ran into a dead end, i feel like an Altmer chapter is kind of the perfect place to implement it if they wanted to.

So will you buy the Summerset Chapter if it doesn't come with a new class/spell crafting?

Yes. Eventually. While I love Morrowind, I think it was a bit overpriced at the release so I waited to get it on sale. I think the price for the next chapter will be similar so I won't buy it ASAP but when the price will drop a bit.

Definitely will. I'm in it for the lore mainly, and to see another part of tamriel. I don't even care about all the fuss about high pricing of Morrowind. It's a game you pay for once and can play forever, and that's enough for me to save a buck here and there to get an expansion even if it "sucks" by global standards.

It's still content, a whole lot of hard work put into it, and comes with soul and heart and considered art by me.

I would be glad if they don't introduce more inbalance.

Just look at the mess which the warden is.

And spellcrafting would kill any class diversity. People will create a hybrid with the strengths of all 5 classes while removing the weak spots.

I really want spell crafting super badly, and I hope ZOS will realize the core value it will add to the game, and not have it as a feature to peddle a chapter.

If its the same size as Morrowind then it will not be a pre-purchase, hell, it won't even be an on-release purchase. It will be a once on sale purchase.

For me at least it was not worth the initial asking price though I fully accept for others it was.

As for spell crafting.... I consider that a core change and more part of the base game. I understand that many expect them to monetise it but to me putting it in a chapter is wrong.

I personally thought that Morrowind was disappointing and not good value for money for the pre-order price. If there is even less in this new chapter then no way am I shelling out for the pre-order price. I will wait until 2 months later when it drops to a tenner.

Its incredibly hard to balance na mmo, in theory its impossible to reach perfect balance and you want to add soemthign that will make it hands down IMPOSSIBLE to reach anything remotely balanced.

The warden was already developed and obviously scrapped for a reason. It was brought back as a way to increase market value for morrowind because the content wasnt worth the asking price alone.

Dont get me wrong I'd rather have the warden then not have it even with all its imbalances but, I'd hold your breath on another class, I'd honestly be scared to see it. Lol.

Spellcrafting as well. This game doesnt need to be exactly like SINGLE player Elder Scrolls games. People dont want nerfs but then they ask for insanely powerful stuff and get mad when it gets nerfed. I imagine a new class and spellcrafting would be seriously seriously broken and I'm not trying to bash here but multiple skills on all classes are broken in some way.

This poll is incomplete. You have no option for "wait and see." If it doesn't come with spellcrafting or a new class, what will it come with. Those aren't the only things missing from this game.

There won't be a new class yet so people really need to stop the fixation with it.

ZoS already said there was no plans for a new class...

Also Warden was in at beta but then removed prior to release, so didn't take them as much work to put it back in.

People will never be happy with balance as it is, we don't need another class or the Pandora's box that would be spell crafting.

Would rather other more useful systems were added like Jewelry crafting for example.

I'll be less excited if another class comes.

I'd much rather see major changes to the existing design like:
Tank, dps and healer skills lines for each class
More stamina morphs
A new weapon line (Wand and/or Rune)
Re-work existing abilities that are never slotted regardless of content
New buffs/de-buffs
New dungeon designs
Update dps abilities so there is a focus on a single dps type (DoT, Burst, Sustained)

Not saying they'd all be good changes, but there is plenty of scope to liven up the game without a new class. Warden hasn't actually turned out to be interesting at all....

This^^ It's either another "craft spell X or get kicked from group" meta *** or a complete and utter disappointment. Only way I see spell crafting ever get implemented is as visual/ audio costumisation only. But then again, everything with severe limits like that will get picked to death by the community.

Couldn't care less about necromancers, death magic isn't really my thing and I've never enjoyed using necromancy in previous TES games. A new class might be interesting, depending on what it is. But I'd actually prefer new skill lines that our existing characters can use rather than having to start a new one, and that seems more likely to me. Or maybe new weapons.

I've already decided I'm not going to buy the next expansion right away, unless it's something really amazing. I feel like I've got enough to do in the game for now (haven't even started the Clockwork City) and if it's anything like Morrowind it'll be available for 1/2 the price within a few months.

But equally it'd have to be really terrible for me to decide not to buy it at all. I'm mainly interested in PvE content, and specifically open-world maps, storylines and quests. So as long as it's got that I'm going to be happy, even if doesn't have random extra mechanics tacked on like Morrowind did.
