When using skills under Destruction Staff, is Enhancements lie Weapon Damage applicable or is this Magicka?

I'm certainly no expert, but my understanding is that weapon damage is related to stamina skills and spell damage to magic based skills. So your destro is probably going to be connected with spell damage.

Way back in the day if I remember correctly weapon damage did affect the damage of staves, but not anymore.

Not sure if this answers your question or not but here goes.

A weapon damage enchantment on your destruction staff will boost your spell damage.
All skills under the destruction staff tree are magicka based. Damaged done is based off your spell damage.

Yeh weapon damage effected all wep attacks, and spell damage only effected basically non weapon magical attacks only...

When they changed it, they never bothered to rename weapon damage to physical damage....leading to the confusion of destruction staff "weapons" not being effected by "weapon damage"...confusing...but it is what it is...

They are called beseaker glyphs ( goes on weapon) and effect both. Now there is a weapon damage glyphs for jelewery that only works on stamina skills.
