Simple question, i usually go to Craglorn to buy sweet things, but i'd like to find even sweeter spots. Where i can find the biggest guilds' traders?

    For things as above

For deals hunt around. Lesser known places often have better deals. I've had good fortune in Orsinium, coldharbour and even more remote ones.

Oh, so big capitals. Weird, i don't like them at all XD
Usually i go to Riften or other "final" zones.
    Thank you all.
Last couple of second, what about Vvanderfell or Clockwork city? Less chance to see big guilds because not everyone have access to them?
If i'm searching for Mazzatun Chest motif, can you suggest a place?

I agree with the above. Items in the main hubs all seem to be more or less price fixed, so nothing more than generic pricing. Almost every good deal I've found in-game has been from one of the lesser trading hubs. Such as Shadowfen, Coldharbour, Rivenspire etc.

As per my first response to you, Mournhold etc.

You can find it in Mournhold for around $300k. I had searched every trader for a several weeks and I finally found one for $275,000. The legs are expensive as well. Good luck

    Edit: misread.

I, unfortunately, am forced to shop almost daily for about an hour. I need to find a shopaholic to do it for me for modest pay, say, 100k gold per week.

For what I buy, largely to do with motifs and recipes, the most prolific guild traders usually have the best average price, the less well known (typically the ones you have to travel to, like Orsinium, or the single merchants) are horribly overpriced, and the best priced vendor seems to change from time to time.

It's almost like the smaller trading guilds both have no idea what the current average price is or in some cases suffer pricing lag as prices drop. Maybe the bigger guilds have more people talking prices internally? Not in any of my trading guilds, although the ones on PC benefit from addon data.

Of course, the very best deals tend to pop up at lesser known places, but the poachers are ready and waiting... Tamriel Trade Center has become mostly useless, only good for finding items so overpriced that you know they will have it when you get there, or sometimes when a merchant is selling a large quantity of an item (e.g., crafting mats).

Right now, I get the best deals out of specific merchants in Vvardenfell, especialy Vivec City and Balmora. A couple months ago it was Daggerfall, but for whatever reason, their prices are now above average.

The very best prices tend to come out of the outlaw refuge's, but I ain't into that time sink.

If pc, use Tamriel trade center. But you have to be quick for more sought after items.

Craglorn is my 'go to' spot. Rawl'Kha is always over-priced. Elden Root and Wayrest are too over-crowed for me.

Aside from the big four already mentioned, Vivec City has become a hotspot due to the convenience of having all crafting stations and guild traders right next to each other and next to a wayshrine. Other competitors are the big cities in early zones, such as Daggerfall, Skywatch, etc.

PC Europe server top traders locations:
    #1 Belkarth, Craglorn.
    #2 Mournhold, Deshaan.
    #3 Rawl'kha, Reaper's March.

Last time I checked those were the top spots after Belkarth, it seems unchanged.
Though if you're looking for bargains, going for those top locations may not be a good idea.
Some videos I recorded for fun: Main character:

For PS4 NA the big guild traders are usually in Mournhold, Elden Root, Wayrest. Backup cities are Rawl'kha and Belkarth. As other's have said, the sweet spots where you can find the best deals are the out of the way traders.

It really depends on what you're after: best prices? Or best assortment?

Pricing will be the most volatile at the smaller cities and outlier/refuge traders. Meaning, you'll see prices that are astronomically high and ones that get listed for npc merchant value because people have no clue what an item is truly worth.

The major hubs, like those previously mentioned, will have stable, market value pricing that keep up the status quo, but offer the greatest chance at finding a particular item like your Mazzatun chest motif chapter or the last provisioning recipe you need just from the sheer volume present.

I've got my sweet spots that I look for deals when I feel like flipping items for a net gain, but I always gravitate towards the major trading cities when I need a certain item for myself and am not too concerned about the price.

I have found amazing deals in capital traders and boondocks traders. My sweetest find ever was a dubious recipe for 5k.... in Mournhold. Not everyone in those big trading guilds know how to price items. I also like locations like Vivec City, Windhelm, Skywatch... it's not so much about the guild or area but rather being in the right place at the right time.

Mainly places where there's a cluster of traders near a wayshrine. So Rawl'kha, Mournhold, Hollow City, Ebonheart, and Bandaari Trading Post, for example.

Though when I'm searching for something, I'll sweep all traders in every zone - even the ones in the outlaw refuges. I've found some pretty sweet deals in some random remote traders.

As has been stated (which is why I personally love the trader system), it comes down to what you want.

If you're looking to simply buy something fairly standard for a standard price go to a capital city: Mournhold, Elden Root, Wayrest. Most prices there are pretty much what the items are deemed "worth" and often have high turnover. If you're high on gold, short on time hit these up!

If you are looking for a highly sought after item and/or and item well below "standard" seek out the more remote venders. These don't always have the best deal as many people aren't the most price aware and may go for a "Hail Mary" sale that someone for some reason or another will buy way overpriced. Often though it's people trying to clear out their bank and want to make a tad more then vendoring it or are using it almost as a "guildie sale". This is where you go to buy cheap, but requires more time.

This many people make a KILLING off traveling to remote traders, buying up a bunch of the good deals, bringing them back to their prime spot location and selling them for profit. In essence they're putting in "the work", so you don't have to and can get it in one convenient location.

All that said this is not always the case. Some people in prime spots are sometimes just looking to move some product and can place very good deals on these capital traders. These are often snatched up near instantly by people shopping or their own guildies checking the store and reselling them. Yet, they do happen so it's not always a waste to check.

When looking for a VERY rare item, this is why it's often best to try the main traders because often people are looking for it and will then resell it where all the buyers are for a huge profit. Not to say you maybe couldn't find it in some remote vendor, but if you HAVE to have it NOW, this is where I would start, and you WILL pay a pretty price for it.

Hope that all makes sense :)

Belkarth, Craglorn - not the best hub for me anymore, occuppied by elitist guilds with exorbitant requirements. Prices high since sellers need to make good profit for the guild to stay there till next week.

Personally I prefer main Alliances city hubs, especially Wayrest - trading guilds with lower requirements (like single sale per week), good stock and players more interested in discounts.
